if sync rate improves on the master socket then you need it there for 3 days for the BRAS profile to update.
you never answered the question. what are you sync'd at, and what do you sync at on the master socket?

extensions can cause problems such as disconnections or low throughput/sync
you would be better off having your router plugged into the master socket and running cat5 from your router to your pc.
what type of connection are you on? fixed rate or up to 8mb?
20db attenuation is good, it means you are quite close to the exchange.
10db noise margin is nothing to worry about.
i get slowdown in GOW sometimes, and i've had it in just cause.
i'm playing using the vga cable and i'm playing it on the highest res 1900x1080.
does anyone else get any slowdown at all?
tomtom one version 2 is £187, and tomtom 510 is £275.
can somebody sum up the differences for me and whether it's worth paying the extra for the 510?
