best way is to saw down the middle... so you work for one of the worst dealers.. with a parts guy who knows nothing.. as you can just pop the middle out, flat bladed screwdriver.

i would say about 5800-6000 max as its a tidy example and had the cambelt done...

for the money you would spend i don't think its worth it... there are some retro fit systems out there.... just doesn't seem worth it for the value of the vehicle imo...

did you spray in the front n/s (passanger arch) as your fusebox is just behind this, is the arch liner there as i know you have 172 bumper fitted etc, fusebox is just behind there..

actually looks better than most bodykits for the mk1 imo, plus its functional.. appropriate for camping at FCS in :)
