just 2 bolts... very easy, just stops engine slap so its not doing any supporting as such when the car is stationary... unbolt the old and bolt in the new... jack up the front and put it on axcel stands then takes about 5-6 mins.... :)
i think rich PWNED cusco kid...
anyone want to apply wheel bearing grease to their cars... the paint won't fall off and it protects it from water really well!!!
from what ive found on the c2 steering at very low speed its jokes.. you could move it with your little finger... definitely a lot heavier in the clio... its because the C2 has Senso steering so becomes heavier as you drive faster... but it is extremely light at low speeds.. its the 1.1 ive...
attempts to stop the engine moving back when accelerating... just the bushings fitted become worn which means the engine/box moves back also making the gear stick move and knocks... in mk1's they often seem to make it hard to select gears and can cause problems with the exhaust as the mainfold...
get the denison one... not the denison FM one.. the one that goes into the CD changer port... it comes with a bracket for the dash as well.... and charges it at the same time.. for the bigger Ipod's i think its 150 and a bit less for nano etc.. looks really tidy though..
ive no longer got a clio so it doesn't bother me.. just strikes me that he actually feels offended by dave's comment which was clearly a joke.. and as i said seems like a stereotypical ageing BMW driver... who again thinks its the be all and end all of motoring.
it is a clio forum.... in the clio picture section...he doesn't own or ever has owned a clio? then he comes telling people that clios arnet mens cars... why bother..
typical response..... just becuase you own an ageing BMW you think that makes you a real man, millionaire and a fantastic driver... what is so much better about your car than his, its certainly worth less...
theyre a direct swap... 30 mins job.. the auto levveling won't work though, but its not a legal requirement unless theyre factory fitted.. my dynamique passed MOT with it fine... the wires plug straight into the new units..
road angel compact.... same price as the plus with the add on detector, then when they become illegal simply detatch the add on... smaller, clearer LCD.... good unit..
end of the day depends as ever.. what it is your looking for... The TT is a totally different car.... In looks and the way it performs... If your wanting the better built one.. later TT's are very good.. The new TT is fantastic though....My sisters boyfriend has just picked his up.. the 3.2...
yeh well he wanted originally to trade his corsa club.. complete with hand painted body kit and lexus lights and gash exhaust... after i told him to get on his bike... he went and got a bank loan.... and payed the full amount... wouldn't mind seeing the old girl if you get some pics if you see...
if your handy you could have that repaired about half the price of buying a replacement... including paintwork.. unless the roof has damage.. in which case forget it imo..
not sure on the tt's black roof... looks good on red ones... but the colours look to close and i usually love TT's.. what is it v6? or 225?.... clio looks tidy and they both look clean
Can a radiator be welded..... if its leaking, ive tried radweld... didn't work... its dripping very slowly.... the car is for sale its an 05 civic btw and has just started doing it, not been hit, no visible stone chips..
oh its had a diff loom put in.... when i bought it the kid had got 2 looms in both partly connected.... had to choose 1 and i think i chose the butchered one.. couldn't work out where that wire near the manifold went either?
