They use a steam cleaner on the outside of the car - this makes it look great but strips off all of your protective wax. Interior is easy - just a powerful vac and lots of effort!
Roy,
If you buy a V6 255 youll get nothing out of it at all unless you invest some time and money. When I first got mine I was slower around our local track (Oulton Park) than I had been in my 172.
HOWEVER. If you do your time and learn how the thing works, you can be seriously quick. If you...
Renault are letting new Clios go for silly prices at the moment because the new Clio comes out in a couple of months time. Drive them hard on price for a new Extreme and you could get a very good deal indeed.
The Yozzasport Cup was indeed impressive at Donington last night. I have no difficulty believing the power figures. Such a neat and tidy engine bay too.
But jeezuz it was NOISY! :D
I drove the Evo before trying the V6. Wasnt impressed at all (it was on a track). Poor turn-in and awful understeer. Probably ok on the road, but on a track it just didnt deliver. Very practical though (apart from the 1 mile service intervals).
I believe they are inside the UCH so theres little you can do. At least theyre not as bad as the TWANG TWANG (like a school ruler on a desk) that you get when the indicators are on!
If the wheels are 7 x 15 youll get rubbing with ET35 (not too bad though - you might be able to put up with it.) Centre bore doesnt matter as you can get spigot rings. If wheels are 6.5 x 15 theyll be ok.
I just leave my CC on auto all the time. If the screen mists up press demist and leave it on for as long as it takes to clear, then hiot demist again to turn it off.
The screen in the 182 is more prone to misting up because its thicker than the one on your 1.2.
