Update, just going for Renault OEM replacement, ordered at a good price from Wests Renault, local Renault dealers would supply and fit for £400 (centre section, backbox, sleeve, gasket), local custom places will do one for £400, local exhaust fitters will supply and fit pattern parts for £330...
That prospeed could have the backbox modified to cut a nice tail pipe into the bumper and have a 182 surround fitted for oem look.
But I'd just paint it black
OK, backbox had separated from the centre section by about 99% lol, centre section is corroded enough to warrant replacement too.
So mild steel shitty exhaust supplied and fitted from large national chain of fitters (not kwik fit) is £330
That's gotta be stainless steel money, descision made!
My exhaust has just started blowing and my car now sounds like every chav's corsa.
Would anyone recommend any oem style backboxes other than a Genuine Renault one? I know stainless is the way to go but it's just the backbox and I don't want to spend several hundred £ on the car at the moment.
Nah thats the Premier Inn I think, its the one at the end of Balby Carr Bank, Carr Hill Industrial Estate beside the big B&Q
I was there all week last week, nightmare of a week.
Back the week after next working through the night in shifts on some testing in the ropery, I flooded the place...
Aye, that's the one! It was a guy driving it though I saw him get in one day, must work at Bridon.
The silver one could have been on a driver awareness thing the police send folk on as apparently they do them in the hotel.
Trophy with private plate JA53 parked at Bridon ropery all week and a Silver 172 cup / 182 with Turinis parked at the Holiday Inn Express one day through the week.
Anyone here?
If anyone's after an R26 and notices that Arnold Clark have the one above in a Glasgow dealership then here's some feedback on it, I test drove the car today.
First thing you'll notice is that it's got a fair amount of deep scratches and is peppered with stone chips in front of the rear wheel...
I just had my rotary switch (a.k.a. Squib a.k.a slip ring) replaced at £230 supplied and fitted and faults cleared by main Renault dealer and now have no airbag light showing.
Aye, happy to have it sorted. Track rod end next week, I like to keep my cars mechanically tip top.
I don't want to let them get away with it, refrained from dropping in as I would have lost my temper.
£230! Part was about £100 as was labour, plus VAT.
Going to contact the original garage telling them I have no confidence in them and tell them what they've cost me.
You can also get an adapter for the Fuji which will let you fit filters, wide angle lenses and macro lenses. Which you wouldn't expect being a fixed lens:
