If anyone's after an R26 and notices that Arnold Clark have the one above in a Glasgow dealership then here's some feedback on it, I test drove the car today.

First thing you'll notice is that it's got a fair amount of deep scratches and is peppered with stone chips in front of the rear wheel arches.

The cars done 50,000 miles and has 1 previous owner - Arnold Clark, it was a contract hire car they ran so it's got a full service history including a few tyre changes and a track rod end replacement. The interior is pretty mint, recaros in good condition. The trip computer hadn't been reset for about 3000 miles and the MPG was reading 28 and an average speed of around 30mph. So it's been driven around town judging by that.

Good points:

Tight handling, cold air con, steering felt accurate without any vagueness, Brake pads and discs in good order, Michelin PS3's on the front

Bad points:

Small dent on drivers door 'crease', several scratches very obvious on black paint, decals have stone chips on them, wheels kerbed, splitter missing, exhaust sitting squint, couple of stone chips touched up on the tailgate. Suspect drivers window regulator knackered. Mixed tyres on the back a Dunlop one side and some cheap naff thing on the nearside 'sunny' or something.

Service history wasn't in the book but they accessed it through the reg. no. and it's had 12k, 24k, 36k and 48k services. Trip computer specifies 9k till next service. Can't be sure the aux belt has been changed.

Not a well looked after example in terms of appearance but inside and mechanically seemed OK.

Not worth the £9,488 it's advertised at imo.

Oh and on the test drive the trade plate flew out it's holder and smashed the windscreen

It's not on autotrader or pistonheads but it's the sort of car people on here would look at so hopefully someone will find this useful.
