Like the wheels (same as mine), but not sure if the gloss black goes that well with the blue.
If they're anything like mine then they look better in the metal than they do in photos.
I'm really not a fan of the standard lego wheels either - think they look too bulky.
I think the centre-caps look better off than on, but don't really like the 182 wheels full-stop which is why I changed mine.
Go for some hardcore lightweight alloys!
To be honest, the Arctic Blue and Titanium Silver are the only two 182 colours that I wouldn't really fancy owning. Find them really boring and I don't think anthracite looks very good against the Arctic!
....but hey, most people seem to like it, and I drive a baked bean.
Flame red all the...
I've always liked the Phase 1's and in some ways prefer the look to the Phase 2 MkII's.
This is besides the point, but am I right in thinking that they all came with a colour stitched 'Renaultsport' logo instead of just grey? I don't know why they stopped doing that, looks much better!
It's hard to explain unless you've seen Inferno close up in different lights, but when clean the colour really can be stunning, especially in low evening sunlight.
Sometimes on overcast days when the car isn't clean it can look a bit dull and terracotta like - so I just make sure it's kept clean!
I really wouldn't worry about it mate - but how come you only just found that out? Did you not check the history before you bought it?
I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it - it may have had a few good spanks but no reason why that should have harmed it.
Yeah, I use the word 'luxuries' very loosely, as the Clio could never be described as a 'luxury' car - particularly with the infuriating dash squeak mine has developed in the last couple of weeks! I must admit though, I do love having xenons, c/c, leather/alcantara, better stereo. I could do...
Or you could lose the Lego wheels and fit a set of Pro Race's to your FF182, making your car about the same weight as a Cup whilst retaining the added luxuries!!

Not a lot in it until motorway type speeds by all accounts.
172 should pull away fairly comfortably after about 80/90 as the VTS weight advantage becomes less significant.
The Blue Flame is good value if you want a change from the standard exhaust, but it's not in the same league as the Orbisoud.
Yes, it's expensive, but as said it'll be a quality bit of kit and you will see genuine, significant performance gains if you fit it. You probably won't have seen any...
That's expensive, but not ridiculous considering it's imported and incorporates a sports cat. They claim a power gain of 10bhp on the Orbisoud website. Cliosport members should also get a discount with K-Tec shouldn't they?
Anyone still got the vid of the 182 with this system that was posted...
It's funny when people say that.
And the reason you bought a 1.4 Clio is because you couldn't afford to buy/run/insure a Sport model, or was is because you really wanted a 1.4?
I wouldn't buy one myself, but Boxters are good cars.
lol
I did some research into this a while back as I was tempted to buy the system directly from Orbisoud in France.
It's a 100cell cat near the front which is much more free flowing than the original item, but it should still pass MOT when the time comes.
The single silencer at the back is a...
Didn't get a chance to speak to the guy but it had a Mugen plaque on the back and quite a big can!
I'll go back probably end of April / May time because grip should be much better but shouldn't lose too much power due to heat. I'll be up for a group meet if there is one around that time.
2.4 on my best run (first of the day!), but felt like the engine bogged a bit, then they were all around 2.5 - 2.7ish.
Don't think it was as bad as 29th Jan by the sounds of it, but I've definitely been in better conditions in my old valver.
Tell me about it! My best time was my first run against the RX7 in the pics above. Couldn't improve on it, but I'm not joking when I said the tyre tread was coming apart trying to get heat into them. Should've taken photo evidence!
I didn't think the Kuhmo's were too bad until Sunday apart...
I did 6 runs, but most of my mates did 7 or 8. Like I said, not that busy.
Few more pics. The Type-R with white wheels sounded pretty insane and was running low-ish 14's when he launched alright from what I remember. The Porsche looked sexual in the metal (was a Turbo R?), but broke down on...
The pics were taken throughout - it was quite quiet all day really, never had to wait very long to get on the strip.
The pics are deceiving though as it was really cold and blustery which may have put people off. There were a couple of short light sleet showers and we left at about 3:30 when...
