My best was a 15.098 @ 93.16 MPH, completely standard (apart from wheels) with full interior. Quite pleased with that but I'll be very glad to be shot of these Kuhmo's (which disintegrated!) as I really struggled for grip. Was really hoping to break into the high 14's, which I maybe think I...
A few pictures one of my mates took on Sunday.
We had a 182 / CTR / Cooper S / 200SX / Golf G60 / RX7 Group thrash to from and at the Pod. Excellent fun!
It's because it gives an average MPG reading since the last time it was reset, therefore once you've clocked up a lot of miles without resetting it will take quite a bit of driving away from this average MPG figure to change the reading.
Reset it and watch how quickly it initially changes...
If we're talking figures, the EVO I have in front of me quotes 7.8 for the Mini and 6.6 for the 182.
Your Mrs obviously isn't familiar with the laws of physics, as the Clio is more powerful and weighs less = faster. The Mini probably pulls better from lower down in the Rev range which is why...
Here's Inferno with black Pro Race's - a bit closer. I love them but have to say the pic doesn't really do them full justice.
Haitch's looks awesome - they look anthracite rather than black though?
Looks ok I guess, but I don't really see the point? The whole point of carbon is that it is light and strong, yet that part requires no strength and it would be lighter to have nothing at all a la cup.
I've just bought 6L of Motul 300V Power 5W40 from oilman on here. This stuff is supposed to be the nads, so I'm looking forward to getting it changed.
This is his website - he usually runs offers for car club members.

Previous two times I went to the local DVLA office in Reading and sorted it out over the counter, but this time I was told I had to send it through the post. Maybe it varies from office to office. I know that the Reading one was always really busy, and the queues were bad, which may be why they...
8.5k miles in 12 months.
Wouldn't worry about it too much though, everyone's got different mileage needs. Just make sure you keep all the servicing up to date and use the best oil you can afford if you really care about the condition of your engine.
^^^Yes but I read the Monaro VXR review in the Sunday Times where he did his back in before it appeared on Top Gear, so you never know. Probs won't appear though.............
Unless you live in Germany, in which case they have to state on the can whether it is a genuine PAO/Ester synthetic or a hydrocracked mineral. I think oil manufacturers should have to adhere to those rules everywhere!
It's not a con - they're hardly going to publish a list of cars and the associated power gains. 5th gear showed tonight that, depending on what kind of car you drive, you do get more power using premium fuels.
Renault probably recommend 98RON for the 182 for a reason, and whilst the...
Arctic Blue, Black and Silver all look good, but are a bit boring IMO.
Love Inferno, Liquid Yellow and Racing Blue in that order of favourtism, as I think they look that bit more special.
There examples of all colours in the image gallery.
I wonder where they are refining this 99RON fuel, seeing as tesco don't own any refineries and none of the other major oil companies have a "99" RON fuel on the market (in Britain), lol.
You're missing the point, it's not all about the Octane rating (although this obviously helps with cars that suffer from pinking or knock), it's also about the additives in the fuel.
Do you think that 95RON or 97RON fuel doesn't lose it's octane rating with time too? (meaning it will be even...
