Thanks Mick, this seems to make some sence. Do you happen to know any data on the main engine loom to car connection? like what pin does what? Basically trying to find out which one is the oil pressure warning dash light, and which one is the Water Temp Dash Instrament.

Hi Mick. Basically, if i put one end of the multimeter in the single wire oil pressure warning light connection, and keep touching the pins on the main block, i can find which one it is, if i do the same with the water temp instrament its the same pin, why is this? The one i think is the water...

This is exactly what i have, but what i cant understand is why does the single wire oil pressure switch wire go straight to the Water temp instrament connection? there for leading to the same pin on the main engine loom connection.

If it turns out the thread in the hub is stripped you should be able to retap it depending on the damage.

How does it work? as i have to put this connection into a project loom i am building.. Im guessing that one of the 2 wires goes to power? and when the car is put in reverse the switch makes the connection and passes the power along? Can anyone confirm that this is correct?

Yeah but what power does your track car have Fred? i know its down to different levels of torque too but i dont know what mine will be, but i am aiming for 20PSI, fuel injected 1.4 8V which will be 200bhp, or there abouts, thats what i aim for when fully setup, and i dont think 1.2 shafts will...

How does the ABS sensor work? i mean what does it monitor? is it the Shafts? If so, am i gonna run into problems changing them to sport ones for more strength when the other engine goes in?

Hmm i am getting a little bit lost, what solution could i use to keep my clocks, or other clocks that will fit my setup for example sport clocks or something? Could i not just keep the sensors for speed?

Any other options? would like to keep some standard clocks wether they be mine or sport ones.
