Is it Vista or XP? I think you could get away with using someone elses disc to copy the basic files across if this is indeed the problem. But try your free shot with John Lewis first.

Put in your Windows disc that you got with it or the recovery disc. Possibly missing a boot up file so if you can get it to boot up using this disc it may laod up the basics so you can fix the problem. Possibly a driver missing or corrupt. PM if you need more info and il be happy to help.

Turn key and the trip says "oil ok" - unless its no of course. If you then press in the reset button it gives an indication of how much oil you have with small squares. Not sure how acurate it is tho.

I wedged a coin when i was sitting in the car the other day inbetween the tiny gap of the ash tray/cup holder and the center console. You need to jiggle it about a bit as it needs to un hook from the back before you pull it out. I thenfed the leeed down the back and in the ash tray. Sits good now.

Try turning on and pressing the reset on thr trip? Like you do to view the oil level.

As above had similar and turned out i needed new pad carriers for the brakes and a new wheel bearing.
