So the motor was in for the MOT on tuesday and failed :( After clenaing up the calipers, thinking this was the reason behind the brakes sticking i was told i would need new front bearings and later told, as the bearings wasnt the only problem, that i would need new pad carriers.
The carriers...
As above i began to hear this noise soo nafter having both belts done. Thought it could of been summin done there. It was in for the MOT yesterday and failed on the calipers sticking. After these where cleaned up there was still problems. Turns out need new carriers and bearings. Expalined about...
Car was in for the MOT... Failed.
Front brakes where binding on and after taking the calipers of and cleaning them up it turns out i need new pad carriers for each side and new wheel bearings. Been told the carriers are £70 a side.
Trying to get a rough idea how much this is going to sting me...
Just a note like said above.
I had same sort of noise recently and have just been told i need new wheel bearings. Chances are it could be the same.
Looks like il be shelling out a good ton + for bearings and time then the mot.
Just been informed need to repalce these prior to MOT.
How mcuh and how much fitted roughly? I see ktech have them at £30 ish a pop and ebay have them at aroudn £15.
Much difference and i tkae it i would only need two for the front?
thanks in advance.
Im needing a new one as well.
How much louder is the ktech/Janspeed one that they sell? I dont want all the attention/noise. It looks nice and is a decent make.
Has anyone any videos/pics etc?
Thanks
Hi,
Is there a Renault part number for the hinge on for the fuel cap. Attached by two bolts and has a sort of slide out arm where you attach the fuel cap to it?
Desperate for one and nobody on here seems able to supply me with one.
Thanks in advance
Was told the same but its my front ones so would like to know likewise.
Fitting new pads and discs tonight so if theres summin that could be done now that would save doing it later that would be handy.
