Any detailing expert advice on how to keep my sponge clean whilst washing three cars. After the first car, the sponge was caked in shite, by the time I got to the third car the water was full of mud too. Advisable to use more than one sponge, or just change the water in between cars?

Agreed. The 1144s are harsh enough for road use, you simply don't need DS2500 on the road. If you can afford it get a set of each and swap for trackdays. Quick, easy job and you'll prolong the life of the racier pad if you're only using it on track.
Presuming you wound the pistons fully inward - brake a few times then pull the handbrake up on the clicker (not with the button held in) a few times and you should be right.
Not gonna be o2 sensor, check the easy stuff first - is there a wire loose? plug ok? then compression test to rule out internal damage. then coil pack, injector...
Your idea of subtle and my idea of subtle are in different postcodes...
Looks good, but the sooner you lose the stickers the less of a joke it'll look.
