I trail brake aggressively but am normally back on the power before the apex. Not sure how my dad drives, brakes rarely smoke. Always right foot braking so no double pedal dragging.
I brake to put myself through the windshield generally...
Probably but I've had a think about it *engineering hat on* and I'll go for ducting, it has got to be a heat management issue and even with four pots the disc will probably still cook
It's a dedicated track car so not too worried about MOT passing.
The discs are brembo HC. It had run pf97 pads for a couple of days and before that a full set of rc6 pads that we managed to run to the backing plate (see picture). Didn't show any cracks though, just some scoring we took out...
Changed the front discs today and notice some significant heat cracks. I realise it's normal to get these in the cyclic loading of the discs, thermally and mechanically.
Is this a normal level of cracking or do I need to work on some extra cooling? Currently just fog light surrounds and...
Might give them a whirl, at the moment we use slicks and R1Rs on track but it's easy to keep changing when it's a drizzly day. I also use R1Rs on my road clio. If the softest Nankang compound is a bit sportier might switch to those for wet track use. I suppose the sensible thing would be to...
We run full slicks, bloody love them. Can be hard to heat up when cold and a bit damp, but once you get heat into them they are demonic.

Reckon it was a 172 cup, looked mondial blue but it was getting dark. You revved it a bit going north on the harborough rd. I was in a grey 182 with orange 2118s
Why do you want it to stop rolling? Generally roll rates are adjusted with ARBs, springs are chosen to achieve a ride frequency as far as my basic vehicle dynamics knowledge goes...
Really? What makes you say that, a respectable amount of wheel travel is what is designed to keep your wheels...
