Oh dear, that will seriously knock 2nd hand prices on the GT-R. Why would anyone want to buy a 2nd hand one of these now not knowing if its been launched once or 100 times.
Apparently it does 4.0 sec 0-60 without LC so why add it to the car with the associated risks, obviously some owners are...
Just a quick one this, the retail fan/cooler i've been using quite noisey and getting on my nerves now, looking for a reliable ultra quiet unit. I know these run quite a bit hotter than the core 2 duos but not looking to upgrade the cpu just yet.
Any advice guys ?
Go on there now and again, not much really. Why the LSD wasnt left in the car like the JDM version I will never know. Even if it was a cost cutting measure why not offer it as an option ??? One of the best mods for the CTR, definitely near the top of my shopping list.
Paint on mine was measuring around 105 microns when the average tends to be 140 microns (so im told). I dont know why mine is so good on the front end with all the motorway miles. However, I never really go above 80 so that probably helps!
Cheers Darren. Front is pretty damn good considering the paint is so thin on these. The only stone chips on the bonnet that have been touched up and ones from before i bought the car! Front spoiler aint bad either.
Hows your clio mate ? That done a few miles now ? Black isnt it.
Think I remember you having a CTR mate ... come back to the dark side lol !!
If actually did a 400 mile round trip to Glasgow to pick it up! I basically emailed about 15 dealers with cheeky offers, 3 came back to me and finally struck a deal with a Honda dealership up in Glasgow.
It was 4...
K-Pro - £750 ish, ITG - £350 ish, 2 hour custom map - £160 ish.
TBH if i had the choice i would have waited and got an RBC manifold aswell with a hondata gasket and modified slam panel. This would cost around £400 fitted but would have given me 230-235 bhp after the custom map.
All easy...
Haha, yep i suppose! Doubt she would be too happy, her head just touches the roof of the civic when she is sat in the boot as it is. Would love a DC5, esp a modded one.
I do a lot of motorway miles and its fairly quiet at the moment. I know if i start messing with anything else the noise will increase significantly. TBH i'd want an LSD throwing in before anything else, can be hard work sometimes with no traction control.
Even after being clayed, the PC was still pulling dirt out of the paintwork! You can really see the metallic now, all the green and red sparkles, really does look the part.
I thought the exhaust pipes were a lost cause aswell, they were black and nothing shifted it that i used. They are now...
I've done nearly 50k in it now and its only ever been waxed once since new :o . Enlisted the skills of Scott at OCD detailing over in Bolton and holy sh*t what a difference!!! Top guy, nothing too much trouble and does exactly what he says he is gonna do.
Was thinking of selling because i...
Remember most of these. Even brought my 2600 back indoors from the garage a year or so ago .. kinda felt sorry for it in the cold and damp... still works a treat!
The funniest for me has to be getting a 512kb upgrade on my Atari ST so it had a massive 1Mb of memory! IIRC there were 8 small...
We run the network version of AVG and had to upgrade to AVG 8. Its full of holes and bugs, very frustrating - even the admin tool doesnt work in sync with some features!
Got it working nicely at the moment with a few workarounds but you shouldnt have to do workarounds when your paying for a...
You would think Microsoft would make a nice tool where you can see benchmarks especially when its a combination of their own software. Guess the only way to find it is to install and test both on the exact same server. Obviously different components may have a different effect on each OS. If I...
Looking to order a dedicated SQL Server machine today. All my servers are 2003 R2, does anyone know if there would be any performance gains by going upto 2008 with SQL 2005?
Googled around a bit but cant really find anything.
Any ideas ?
Someone isnt 'stupid' for leaving their connection open, probably just not techy enough. Its the ISP's fault for sending out hardware half the time that is wide open. My parents wireless router was enabled with WEP security by default (piece of p*ss to hack) ... they dont even use wireless, its...
I took the META tags out mate. Read various articles and people reckon they are not used much anyone in the grand scheme of things.
Edit: yep did all the site myself, im a programmer though and not a designer as you might be able to tell :)
Had my website up and running for about 5 months now. Finally got it indexed by google in February and after getting some external links etc we were 2nd on the results page for the search term 'Plan your space', my domain - http://www.planyourspace.com
I've also had adwords running for about...
Sounds like you dont need anything too specific. I would get a vista machine, 2gb ram, dual core. Get a 22" widescreen and bang the res up to cope with all your windows. As for printing maybe get yourself a mono HP laserjet, had good experience over the years with them.
... or ring Dell and...
The free wireless box is quite good aswell, plenty of connections on the back and some decent options to tweak with in there. Mum and dad have it aswell now (after their orange bb stopped working!) and i've tweaked some settings in the firewall so I can remote desktop to them when they are...
