holla,
need to change my knock sensor on a 182 could someone point me in the right direction of its location and any tips needed.
thanks very much
john
when i used 5-40 and 10-40 i never used any oil, now im using a 0-40 i do use a bit what weight are you using and sometimes giving it a bit of stick in the colder time of year i think can burn a bit more up than when warm
ditto, was on a rr at the weekend and the operator said my peak wasnt quite what he expected based on the rest of the graph, afr was spot on and drives fine but he thinks the knock sensor could be picking up something or on way out. as a coincidence orange emissions light came on the way home...
i love mt btb had it on for two years now the quality of of system was very impressive, the fit was excellent and the sound just right.
plus although its expensive it is very good quality and may hold resale value better. milltek maybe worth considering? not as loud as some of the others a...
servcing is a bit steeper on the frp, i know you mention about your family connections, the brake calipers dont have dust seals and need rebuilding on a regular basis and the rear arches suffer stone chips quyite badly.
mate had one and it was great to drive and really gripped well and the...
just gone though the pics and afraid the only one of your c2 is a bit rubbish but here it is anyway mate, i blame it on how fast you were round druids.
ahh right, i have dumped my acoutic valve as well but just left the short air feed attached which end just below the headlight, may don something similar one day space is quite tight behind the headlight.
cookie-jnr - just checked my camera and i took a pic of your clio and one of the c2 on track, not great pics as i just point and press kind of guy but i'll post them up when load them onto computer soon.
they looked like a really good finish mate i would be very pleased with them, i sprayed my last track wheels myself (black with blue stripe) and soon found out the spraying was not a talent i can say is mine, i dont have the patience.
sprayed a few little badges etc but thats about it. noticed...
blimey what happened just massive fade or did something brake? must have been a 50p - 5p moment downstairs.
loved the colour of the rims i was talking last week about having mine sprayed, what colour are they mate? dont want gloss black as would look out of place on my car and the tyres would...
hello,
i was there but watching only on that day.
say the silver 182 with the lowered suspension and darker rims, looked really nice. also saw the c2 that was really flying.
the silver 172 ph1 was a bloke i have done a few trackdays with but dont know his name, he is a marshall at the...
its your ecu trying to tell you not to drive with them on, on serious note if youe have auto lights thats prob the reason, need to turn lights on yourself for them to work.
wish foglights were auto would save a lot of people driving with them on during the day or on a nice clear night.
my missus works at the uni on eccy road i will ask her to keep an eye out, she goes into champs a bit for lunch and sometimes quick meal after work before a trip back to mcr.
love ly on clios and i always see some sweet motors on eccy road when i visit.
p.s missus just got rid of her 2 year old clio 1.5dci the 65bhp run out sport model and the mpg it returned was great really impressive and not a single problem/fault in two years and 35k. turned out to be a great buy i used it loads and left mine on the drive.
usual thing of extra bhp i guess mate, look at bigger cooler and map maybe. if its a 65bhp raid parts from the 80 or 100bhp models to save cost.
not sure what final drive your gearbox will have if all else fails fold in your wingmirrors and get a tow from a 1*2
i have been using mobil 1 fully sync 0w-40 and its a combination daily driver/few track days, no leaks and it has used just a tiny bit between services. its cheap at costco if that helps.
ps i have mods to mine but doubt its quite 200bhp
i think he said that the oil level said ok on his dash and had checked it within the last week or so he said, perhaps on the journey something broke and oil pissed all over the motorway and that resulted in pain.
the last 182 i saw on 195 tyres had been written off at the ring while it was up on ramps being stripped i noticed the narrower tyres but im not saying thats what made him crash though. thats the only time seen 195 on an rs though i hadnt realised it was done before that. quite a saving on tyres...
^ agree above with basic mods you will see/feel a little gain in the mid range if your lump is healthy as it is unless you have a renualt specilaist over in ireland do ktec do an exchange ecu with one of rs tunings maps on?
