I'd expect brake discs to not be covered by the warranty as they're consumables and the car may have been used in the meantime & worn them down further, but the zorst might be covered - check the wording of the policy to work out where you stand with it.
I'm selling a '02 172 Xenon headlight ignitor/starter - and have been asked about part number compatibility
Mine says 021661 (5DD 008 319) on it, but someone wants to replace theirs which is apparently 031661 (from an '04 model).
Anybody know the difference?
Bought this a bit ago, been trying out multiplayer - standard weapons are a bit naff & i've had some games with awful spawns right next to enemies, but otherwise much nicer to use than MW3!
I've noticed people running quickly, just assumed that they were carrying a small light-weight gun as you can run faster like that.
Some games yesterday i've had a lot of air-support come down, others hardly any, bit random.
Indestructible, well i'm pants anyway but sometimes i've been...
Here's mine t'other morning (click the photos for larger images):
Mounting the remote with 'exterior' grade sticky pads has helped it stay in place, although i've had to replace them after 6months.
I need to improve the cable run into the glovebox though, have got a few cable-tie bases to hold...
Just tried, and there aren't any on there. Just hoping I can botch something together from the bits that were left + repair putty.
Regarding removing the units, there is a guide in the Tech Guides section, just have to remove the bumper which apparently is fairly easy.
Tried pulling the clip out of the ball&socket so I could glue it back together but it just broke apart as I pulled it out - grrreat!
It's broken into too many pieces to put back together now
This clip is for a manual adjustment on the RHS of the driver's lamp.
Found a broken adjustment clip inside the driver's side headlamp, the reflector is loose & moving around and the beam pattern is low.
Does anyone know if they can be bought separately or successfully repaired? I was thinking araldite, or some repair putty. Only problem using the putty might be...
B&W aren't crap, but they have a sound that a lot of people might not prefer. I got JM Lab last time I wanted stereo speakers in that price range, as I thought they sounded better for the music I listen to.
Getting fed up with being too rubbish at it & some of the small maps make it near impossible for a useless eejit like me to do well - just getting overrun with people on Dome, etc!
I managed to revive an old seal on an old car by using the silicon lubricant spray I had lying around - obviously not a true fix, but as long as I didn't open it then it didn't leak!
Was changing my side-light bulb (172 with factory xenons) and noticed the reflector in the offside light casing is loose.
Not sure if I nudged, or unclipped, something while I was changing the bulb but it can definitely be moved around by hand now but it doesn't move so far as to foul the bulbs...
Just tried using the forum's gamertag feature to add a few people to my Xbox Live friends list, but it's not working - the xbox website comes up with an error like i've tried navigating to the wrong page.
Any chance of a fix for this?
If anyone wants to add me for a laugh, i'm only really...
