Seriously, before you get flamed to hell, please read through this forum section as the question is asked pretty much every other week.
Pioneer do some direct fit replacements, Hertz are sold for a good price by "MT Audio" on here, the rest is down to personal preference.
Have been using a bluetooth ELM 327 OBD2 reader, and Torque android software on my phone to check for fault codes.
No codes are reported, but...
I noticed that the maximum "Throttle Position" value it reports is approx. 75%, regardless of engine temperature - even with pedal fully depressed and...
It was more the fact I was getting dead without doing anything - just running to find someone and getting hit from every angle without even knowing where they were.
Went into my first online game earlier. I'm distinctly average in Black Ops but got annihilated in the two Domination maps I tried. Think I need to get on the billy whizz to get some quicker reactions! Not helped by little map areas mind - and it put just a few of us, all <level 30, against...
Yes indeed, but you're still considering it. Get something turbo'd if you want more power on the cheap(ish). I liked my old Pulsar GTI-R a lot and it was a beast.
Not happy to hear you lot having problems with lagging - I found it to be a problem foir ~1/3 the times I got killed in Black Ops - was hoping this would be better. How can you tell who's hosting an online game?
What he said, although a ring-crimp terminal would be better than leaving it loose. You just need something that goes directly into the body and an unpainted thread.
Re: alpine cde103bt help wiring ??????
There is a radio pin-out guide on the forum somewhere, tech. guide section maybe. You need to refer to the manual that came with the headunit & match it up with the pin-out.
HU connectors connect to the ISO connectors, you probably don't need to connect...
So this thread is going nowhere fast... Looking through ebay there were a few options that claim to be non-bitumen based which may be worth trying.
I think when money is a limit you only bother with mass loading the doors for speakers to stop rattling, etc. but you'll need the foam type stuff...
I've got a 2002 172 and tThe bearings on the PSA pump have gone, are these all the same for 172/182s with air-con?
Do Cup models use a different one?
Am going to source an ebay one as prices for refurbished ones are coming in at ~£180. :(
I fixed mine, which was split on the bottom corner, silicon sealant & plastic-weld Loctite adhesive. 6months later it's still fine so may be worth trying if you want to give it a go.
FYI, getting the wipers off is usually a b*tch.
I found the LFA to be bat-sh*t crazy at first, spinning out in 1st & 2nd which it needed to use on the track the multiplayer game gave us - had better take driving it seriously, was no use just hacking about in it!
£32 with voucher code online, go to asda's website through your Quidco account and get another quid off. Just pre-ordered it, the code I used (at least) was also available for BF3.!
I'll likely be as rubbish on this as I am on black ops, but i still usually enjoy mucking about on it.
I get fed up with regular multiplayer game lobbys, like Turn10 production cycle, Soccer - waiting around for ages for players to finish/coz there's a game in progress/etc then it craps out for various reasons.
Soccer is a big let down to me too as it's just carnage, if they imposed car damage...
Disconnect the parrot device from the headunit wiring loom, and reconnect the HU alone to it. Try that for a while (say a fortnight?), see if the problem re-occurs.
When you're putting the wiring back to normal, check all visible wiring & connectors/crimps, to make sure you've not damaged...
