I have a cable and connector underneath the drivers seat which i think is for the cd changer...will it be as simple as just plugging this into the changer???

Will the cd changer from a mk 2 172 be compatible with the standard HU from my mk 1 172?

Cheers Would any CD changer fit or would i have to get one from the renault dealer??

nope no cd changer!! There is a connector under the drivers seat but no changer..ive also looked under the grey plastic cover which is under the passengers seat....is this where it shud be??

What i meant to say was could my car have a standard alarm aready fitted even though there are no motion sensors to be seen?

It looks like mine only has the immobiliser fitted then. Would it be possible tha it may have an alarm fitted but without the motion sensors??

Its a french import but its a uk spec vehicle. I was just asking this because my mate has a phase 2 172 and he has motion sensors inside his car but i dont seem to have any in my phase one....would this indicate that there isnt an alarm fitted???

Does the phase 1 clio 172 come with a standard fit alarm or does it just have an immobiliser??

Yea it is a RHD but the bloke who had the car before me had bought and used it in france so strangely its a RHD with KPH dials

I have recently bought a clio 172 mark 1. The car is a french import and the speedometer only shows KPH instead of MPH. Can i get replacement dials to convert to MPH??? If so where can i get them??
