Some great pics there fellas...
Thought the roads were a bit slippy over Hartside, although that's maybea mix of my ditch finders and lead right foot! Must get them swapped ASAP!
Where did you's head to/from? I seen the other car with the white wheels heading out of Carlisle when I was heading in, before I went down to Penrith to come back over Hartside.
If i've nothing on, I may be heading out on the 11th with you lot.
I swear he was off the ground when he passed me...I waved at all of you, but doubt you seen me at that rate LOL!
First time i've had my 172 over Hartside, still getting to grips with fwd opposed to 4wd, but I have to say, it was great!
My 172 the light normally comes on with the trip showing 34 miles left...I don't tend to let it get so low though tbh.
My mates 182, he gets 80 miles or so on the light (on a motorway run)...
Haven't done navigational rallies for quite some time now, mainly because we've progressed onto stage rallying, but could be tempted to give it a go again if time allows, was such good fun!
One of the best forms of motorsport to get involved in if you've never done anything like it before IMHO.
I've had my 172 for a couple of months now, and the lowest ive ever seen it showing was 30.4mpg, and thats after driving it like I stole it. Town driving I see easily 35mpg, and on a steady motorway run 40+...
Change the lambda like everyone else has said.
The 197 was near the trailer park for The Border Counties rally today, private plate, woman behind the wheel.
The LY 182 was at the end of SS3 or 4, can't remember which, but had a quick look whilst handing my time cards in lol!
Anyone from here?
How low have you went? What suspension? I dont want a huge drop, so looks like i'll be going coilovers....unless there's any -20/-30mm springs about....haven't looked yet.
Ben - Yeah theres some awesome locations for pics around this way :)
Lewis - I am indeed, I have a few plans for it, just waiting to MOT it at the end of the month then the "improvements" will commence :)
As per the title, gave the 172 it's first half decent clean of the year, and since i've had, as its only ever just been quickly washed, got just a quick 3 hour going over today really, quite surprised with the results, didn't think silver would come up quite so well with just one layer of...
Argh, so many replies so quickly, not used to that on other forums I use! lol
Hmmm decisions decisions, I do like to be different, and most prefer the anthrecite....
Aye keeping the white clean is the only problem, although im a clean freak tbh, it has to be clean all the time lol!
Daniel, it wouldn't be just a flat white anyhow, i'd get my mate to do them in a pearly white, he runs his own bodyshop, so will do them for next to nothing :)
Sanders, I may...
Ok then guys and gals....
I thought I was pretty much decided on doing my standard 172 alloys in an anthrecite shade along with the bullets, until tonight when I photoshopped them white, and now im stuck, as I think im leaning more towards the white....
The white 'shop has been lowered...
