It's my cousins lift/workshop, he'll be the one looking at it, although I do have mechanical knowledge, it's mainly of Subarus and Fords.
I've already had it on before and never noticed anything untoward, hence why asking on here for ideas what to look for, but then, I wasn't particularly...
Bucko - I'll get pics later when I go do the engine mounts.
Maynard - I thought maybe a bent wishbone, i'm going to get it on the lift later and have a look, but would a bent wishbone not make it pull to one side when driving?
The car has major kerbing on all wheels, so it is a very high...
Not sure what's up with my 172 front wheels/suspension really...
My passenger side wheel seems to sit further back towards the door/wing than my drivers side one. I'm getting a fair amount of tyre wear on that side also compared to drivers side.
Roughly measuring from centre of front to...
Clio every time for me! Revvy screamers that you can throw about are where it's at! I had my Impreza previous to the Clio, 307bhp 299lb/ft, and in comparison the Clio wins hands down in the smiles per miles department, and I dare say I can cover the roads around here quicker in the Clio than I...
Yep, that's the one! Stunning colour, first time i've seen it in the metal, and wow!! never seen it kicking about before, and i'm over in Gretna a fair bit.
Mine will be covered in it too no doubt, stupid seagulls nest on the roofs of the buildings on the estate where I work, normally washed every night at this time of year lol!
If I see you, i'll give you a flash (not literally, not while i'm driving at least haha!) and a wave :)
Iceberg 172, pretty much bog standard apart from a smaller front number plate. I shall keep my eyes open, im around that way daily when heading home from work.
I never spotted yours and I normally look in there to see what cars are kicking about too! It was probably about 5ish when I passed, following the inferno lol
Ah fair play.
I test drove a 197 F1 last weekend, and tbh, didn't think it was all that, not sure what it's like in comparison to a 200, but can't imagine them being much different.
There was a white 250 on the forecourt too, and it looked stunning. 250 all day long if I had the money.
Check the calipers are moving freely on the sliders, somehow I doubt they are. They have a reputation of having crap rear brakes, but should still clear the rust off the discs!
Sounds, errrm, interesting?
The new rally Scooby, everyone needs ALS in their life! Even minus 2 rear doors lol! (They're in paint atm)

As above, if it isn't fully up to temp, the rev limit is decreased, mine takes a good steady 10-15mins drive before it's lifted to 7200rpm or whatever they limit at.
Yeah, i've been very surprised by the shine/reflection for a silver car, coming from a black car, I didn't have high hopes for a decent finish on silver.
As previously said, and I know it's "each to their own" and on totally different cars, but I had all sorts on the Impreza, the T1-Rs understeered like a b**ch, and could rather quickly become oversteer.....as soon as I had the Khumo KU31s on it, pretty much got rid of understeer, and had to work...
