If your fitting the kit from Renault you'll get fogs, brackets, wiring, new stalk.
Dash off job (10 mins) to route the wire to the block plug on the back of the Instrument panel aswell so you get the light coming on aswell.
225 / Meganes don't use a Laguna 1.9 (sorry V6 Clio) box they use the ND0 which is totally different.
If hes putting a F4RT in surely he could sqeeze a 6 speed box in.
Ben have you checked the connections in the pedal?
Whats your temp gauge doing aswell - I've had a few coolant temp sensors cause that, it doesn't throw a light on the dash either. It'd just run really high/rich and almost cut out in excessive cases.
Yeah Rich its a pain when that happens, Never ever think to yourself "I'm on a roll here" when your doing a job quick, as soon as you think that the next bolt will snap/round off/seize lol.
Xcore try getting a small hacksaw, and just sawing straight across the centre of the screw - so you can...
Dead easy Tim, 10-15 Minute job.
Bumper - Remove the 2 X 10mms underneath holding the bumper onto the subframe. Remove the T20s in each wheel arch liner (can jack the car up and take the wheels off if you've got claws for hands) Pull back the arch liner and you'll see a 10mm either side...
Erm, those picks are showing you removing the NEARSIDE track rod.
Whoever linked to this guide above thats the Ball Joints not the track rods.

Front bumpers a bit different (around the foglights) also the grills different. Dials are different as you say and the interiors revised slightly, the engines are slightly differnent aswell. Alloys also changed.
Dunno what setup the Golfs are running but could just be something simple like clutch cable snapped/popped off the release arm or not clipped in properly.
Yeah dead easy mate its a filthy job though bes to get some disposable gloves, an old toothbrush, loads of rag. A bit pair of water pump pliers helps.
Take the engine cover off, unclip the cold air feed off the front of the airbox, remove the wiring around the airbox including the pressure...
They're like that to be fair, it almost sounds like clutch release bearings about to go. Most of the time its play in the EGR valve rod when it opens/closes causes it, cleaning it will get rid of the sound for a while.

They suit that car really well to be fair - wonder the car itself would look like colour coded aswell might make it look wierd.
Oh and I'd kill for a white Dynamique.
Theres 2 wires onto the starter - got 12v at both at one point?.
Ones 'permanent' if you like, and the other should get 12v when cranking or key in the crank postion.
They all do that a little bit as normal, sort of a "Chhhh" sound if blipped. If its worse you've probably got a crack in the manifold.
I know what I'd do but people would start flapping on here if I said it.
Left an earth strap off somewhere?
Check your battery terminals are tight. Get a mate to sit in the car, see if your getting power to the starter actuator (not the big red wire the little one) when they turn the key to crank.
Failing that, I'd test the battery.
Seized rear shoes. If they're old & starting to crack, they'll come off the metal itself, move round for about a yard, then jam up. Mk2 Clios do it quite a bit.
Too much. For that price it should have 90k less miles.
I got a 2003 69k DCI 80 Dynamique with Xenons and Climate for £3800. That was a year and a half ago aswell!
