I own a 106Gti also (Cost me £1100!yey!) and although it is quick the 172Cup i have is noticeably faster, especially at higher speeds. I think the 106GTi feels faster than it actually is because of its size, that said however I would say the 106Gti probably is more fun though!!

Had one of these as a company car for 6 months - they are relatively quick, very refined(boring) My Cup has quite a bit more urgency about it, particularly at higher speeds.

Had a look round for Trophy seats but I think I will have to shell out a fair amount extra $$$ to get them! If I could get them >£500 then I'd prob go for them but don't think I' dget them for that price.

Haven't had a problem in the Clio, touch wood, but had a puncture in my Lupo GTi which doesn't have a spare either. Tyre weld worked ok but also had a compressor which th eClio doesn't seem to come with. Got a Halfords compressor in the boot of the Clio along with the Tyreweld just in case.

Well kept 172 mk1 in silver in the rush hour melee of the Ayr bypass this morning just before 9am.
