Afternoon all,
I got a trackday booked at Snetterton for this Saturday the 8th. It's only a Under 25's day on the 100 circuit but should be a good crack!
Me and Rhys will be down there all day, with the Miss's and another mate popping down during part of the day.
I think Dan said he would pop...
I ordered mine off eBay too for £13.

I'd say change both ends and get the tracking/alligment done after. I just posted in another thread that Lemforder ones are common on here and can be bought from euro car parts for £13.86 a side using promo code "midmonth30" to get 30% off.
Inner steering rack is the inner tie rod as you...

Now my bumper is not held on by that clip but tbh it ain't going to go anywhere as you still have the 3 clip things...
I run mine 12front, 10rear. But I'm sure it will change for track:)

They came last Monday and had the wrong bolts that you bolt the spacer to the hub with, M14 instead of M12. So after talking to a American who knew nothing about cars who when she asked what the product was I said "wheel spacers" she then went on and "veel, v, e" I said "NO! Wheel as in a wheel...
Cheers Mick, I wasent looking at replacing my stat as I think it's doing a good job (fan kicks in if I leave car running after a drive). Just if I take the stat out I take it I would need a new seal which of I read correctly I can get from Renault for £5. Or do I even need to remove the stat to...
Looking to flush and change my coolant one day this week, bought a new tank from eBay to change my manky yellow one and also getting the type d coolant from Renault tomorrow.
I'v read a few threads about it and I believe the process is;
- remove bottom rad hose and drain coolant
- remove...
That is correct mate! Rear wheel camber or toe you would need shims which you can buy. And to adjust camber on front you would need camber bolts or shocks that are on slots:) And to adjust the front castor you would need adjustable topmounts like AST's.
I haven't mate no, it was done just using one of them trackers that shines a light to the flags at the rear. The camber is roughly set at --1.25 degrees and this was checked again last night using a camber gauge on flat ground. I'm thinking of taking it to somewhere like ATS to get a print out...
Well I fitted my Spax coilovers along with new TRE and ball joints and went and got my toe adjusted.
First time was Friday and it seemed ok minus the wheel slightly off center to the left, I drove up to hopton for the weekend and it seemed ok for about 120 mile round trip. At the end of the way...
Already bought the new tank now so thats in its way lol! Popping to Reanult some day this week to get the Type D for £11.63.
Tbh I think I could give it ago myself, and as you said DIY is much more satisfying! The car hasent been in the garge once *touch wood* and iv replaced the brakes, oil &...
Tanks for the response mate, thats great news!
I was going to change the tank just to make it look new and clean, as mine is all yellow and old. There only £13 from ebay:)
Now I just got to read up on how to flush, bleed and fill up the system:)
Cheers!
