This, mine failed around 3months after dephaser/timing @ around 70k- showed no signs of any problems when job was done.
Hit and a miss, no ones going to 'gaurentee' it will be fine.
(For the cost of a pump, compared to labour/parts if it failed later I'd personally choose just to do it- wish I...
Multimeter on amp, should be 12v on live/remote when stereo on, if not u have a power fault (fuse, broken cable etc). If they are both pulling 12v and not going on it could be an earth fault (where have you earthed amp?).
Generic error code reader, but will clear emissions light caused by decat. Got mine form a website called beat the garage, looks exactly the same as one a k tech sell but much cheaper
No meaning to b**ch but this is the 5th thread you've started about halogen bulbs, it's been covered loads, the search function does work on this forum.
Broken/worn wire through door grommet id imagine, if not that then a loose connection at rear of stereo (but would expect the latter if stereo hasn't been removed)
Is it not a fakra for newer clios? You will have either a white or green aerial connector? If so autoleads pc5-111 for non amplified antenna or pc5-136 for amplified
There's your problem, as long as pins are lined up you should be able to hold wires at back of yellow connector when pushing then together to stop them from popping out. They probably weren't lined up properly when plugging together first and the lugs that hold them in will have been bent back...
Does the stereo remember stations when it is turnedn on/off?.
If it's all wired up correctly, no wires have been pulled and tried disconnecting everything then reconnecting then I'd send back stalk adapter in return of a replacement one, also include patch lead on return and get a new one of...
pioneers generally bring up system settings when holding down mode on the standby screen, but newer models like the x6500 allow this to be entered via 'system' on the menu, then there will be a factory reset option (best refer to manual on this one).
the red going into back of radio should be...
Things to check...
1. Ignition feeds are correct way round, as stalk adapter will rely on this to program itself
2. Check all wiring/plugs to adapter are tight and secure
3. Check no wires have been pulled taught - Clios generally dont have much space so best pulling cables down glovebox side...
Is the pioneer stalk compatible? what model is stereo?. Also is 3.5mm jack connection or yellow wire connection for pioneer. I presume all parts concerned are new?
The only time my handing wasn't good was when I had leaking rear dampners, ever since change it has felt solid again. Tyres will also influence handling...
It's there as an option, so if you have set the smb to provide power then just tape up and tuck away. Earth is from the sticky strap attached to amplifer (the bit stuck to body behind a-pillar)
