So the colder the air feed the better the car can run ? If you could keep a constant cold feed of air to the induction kit would this inporve the BHP ? or just the way the car runs.

That normally means that its been chipped. Mine goes all the way to 8000 I got the BBPT chip. I also had my cams done and they kick in at 2.5k so this could also be what you are experiencing.
