your talking total and utter crap. i see this car every day, and it is real, so is the evo lump and 4 wheel drive and everything else. if you would like to forward your mobile number on i'll take some pics of it tommorrow and send them to you, or i'll let you know the address where it is...
firstly, it probably cost him less than a second hand valver, cos he built the whole thing himself. it does have 4 wheel drive, it has turrets welded into the back for shocks so he could attach the diff and every thing else needed ie suspension etc. p.s all the purists may not like it, hell...
i had the the 325mm high spec 4 pot set up on a valver, and i all honesty, it was complete shite. would never use them ever again. they were in my view, worse than standard valver brakes. they came with ebc green stuff pads, so i dont know if that was the problem. but at the time they were...
its fine to drive it with a little play in it as it wont fall apart or anything like that. i have had this happen on 2 different valvers, i put a new column on one and welded one. no difference between the two options at all except for a couple of hundred quid.
if its still not working, ive got a spare superchipped ecu for sale. your more than welcome to try it before you part with the cash. post me if interested. steve
ive driven a couple of these, and standard they are quite quick, played with it a little, and its bye bye licence. they are reasonably reliable, as long as they are looked after, but they are getting old now, as are valvers and everything else, so bear that in mind.

supercharged aye?, there is a valver near me thats been supercharged, and have had no luck finding anyone that can do it. how much you charging then winston?
the reason i asked, is that ive seen a 172 lump in a 5 turbo shell, and i know valver engines can also fit in the 5, so wondered if the 172 engine would fit in a clio? many thanks for your replys so far. steve
ive finally got a bit of wokshop space available, and due to recent surgery have had nothing to do but come up with ideas on what to do to my new valver. bodywork is gonna stay standard this time, but ive been offered a 172 lump for a reasonable price with everything else need for a...
i was with greenlight for a couple of years, in the end it took 11 months to get a policy doument through, then, they diceided thy would'nt cover my old clio because of the paintwork. the turbo conversion was ok, but not the paint. after many phone calls, they turned around and said, "its...
ive got a superchipped ecu for sale, gave previous owner another 8 bhp and made it more driveable. never fitted it to mine, as the valver i ended up buying had already been chipped. yours for a £100.00 plus postage. post me if interested.
i didnt throw accusations about, just saying what i heard. as for the road being used as a dragstrip, it is every night by everyone from saxo to merc owners. if you dont know the road why the hell are you commenting. with a 2 lane road with traffic ither side of it outside a takeaway, im...
if its the b pillar, sounds like a write off, and the turbo was just costing to much to run, ie 130 miles to a full tank, dam that heavy right foot!, what i meant by the flag bit, is it sounded like you were towing it a bit, before your accident through a slightly crap bit of road as if you...
that be me, but this clio isnt the turbo'd one. thats gone to the great garage in the sky, ie got bored and scrapped it. has yours been written off then?, p.s where's the flags then?
there is a dimma clio with pearl paint around braintree thats been supercharged, goes like stink, but really bad mpg, like 15mpg. was converted in belguim i believe by dimma who built it.
cheers for the info on wheels, i think i may have a set lined up, but new car has taken all my cash at mo, love your car, think the flaps are class, i really do like them, thanks for your time.
the marbled beast has been scrapped. still have the buckets, shell, and exhaust if anyones interested. just had enough of being pulled and throwing money at it, hence standard cheap car. standard one is only £126.00 to insure, rather than £400.00 for the turbo beast. maybe im just getting...
