As you can probably gather my hobby takes up a lot of space. There is however plenty of space on the desk, just looks small in the pic. Screen is a 22" widescreen.
According to the help you won't see an update button unless there is an update.
For anyone who has updated what version does it say you've got? I've not had any updates and mine says 0.2.149.29
I've been using Google Chrome since it came out. Not felt the need to go back to Firefox. I missed...
Depends what you want to do. You could have your own free googlepages site but if you want to sell anything from it you'd have to check their T&C and if you want to be professional with your own domain name then it won't be much good.
You can create folders in the bookmarks bar just like firefox, so what I do is create folders like News, Popular and Forums and save my bookmarks in the appropriate folders.

Trying it now, it's imported all my firefox bookmarks, usernames and passwords which is a good start.
This is supposed to be released today for Windows users isn't it?
Sounds very promising from what I've read http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/
I wonder why the official site has been taken down though.
Just give this a go...
On this forum:
User CP -> Edit Options -> Scroll to the bottom and choose Standard Editor if it isn't already, save changes and see if it works now.
It's built in, not an addon.
Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General Tab
Tick "check my spelling as I type"
Then right click in a text box like the quick reply and make sure that "Check Spelling" is ticked.
I pay £46 a month for Sky Broadband Max (unlimited usage up to 16MB connection) and Sky TV (Movies, Kids, Documentries). I use BT for the phone with their unlimited call package can't remember the price though.
Broadband works perfectly every time and the supplied router does what it's supposed...
I watched a city link driver bump roll a clearly boxed glass vivarium down our path. Thankfully the company that sent it had packed it really well!
Perhaps they never put the 2nd stick of memory in, in the first place?
Seems fair enough to me. Just because you can do it from the comfort of your own home doesn't make it any less serious than walking into HMV, grabbing a game off the shelf and running out of the shop with it. Just my opinion.
Well the scheme is renewed every 3 years so they'd still have expired if that's the case. The company that insure for Motability - Royal Sun & Alliance couldn't give me a definite answer.
Think I'll write to Direct Line, my current insurers (I want the reply in writing) and see what they say.
It's on a motability scheme and they've already told me they have nothing to do with NCB i.e. I won't get any even though insured and they don't recognise any previous NCB.
To cut a long story short I won't be paying an insurance premium for the next few years at least, although I will still be insured. As far as I know NCB expires after 12 months if not used?
Do insurance companies offer any way to prevent this from happening?
I tried to watch fifth gear earlier and couldn't get a thing out of it. The player loaded but wouldn't play. Must be having problems, I've watched stuff on there before.
What type of memory is used for upgrading?
I should have said that she does have a pc but wants something she can use in bed or in the garden etc to browse the net (with java and flash plugins), email and write letters. So not having a DVD drive doesn't bother her.
If she's in the house...
Mrs is trying to get her money back on her faulty CnM minibook from Novatech and I've suggested she get an Eee Pc instead as you seem to get a lot more for your money.
Has anyone got one?
The one that I think would be good for her is the Eee PC 701 green (UK version) 512Mb, 4 GB. With Linux...
