    Eaton M62 (Mercedes) supercharger

Yes yes and yes. It's been done. M62 is better than the M45, you'll be over spinning it to make decent top end. Iirc the guy made 230bhp and 200lbft on the standard clutched Mercedes pulley and running 421 catcams but you can get alternative pulleys or machine your own.

    Booked my ARDS

Cheers all. Passed no problem, full marks and the practical was a cinch. Don't know what I was worried about! @@Josh a Clio, probably start off in cnc heads as it's more local for me. But having a Clio leaves doors open for tin tops, tricolore, msv trackday or team trophy etc.

    Booked my ARDS

Do I need a medical before or on the day? I need to get a new application form, mine is from 2014!

    Booked my ARDS

Got my ARDS next Wednesday. Going to read up on section Q. I know my flags and the driving bit I'm not worried about. Is there anything to watch out for?

    Clio 200t tyres

215 won't go without spacers, they'll rub. You can get away with 5-10mm spacers front and rear iirc.

    172 Cup Stage Rally Car

Best of luck Paul! Why have the big brakes gone?

New SM Intakes via group buy.

Looks good to me, nice flat torque and rising bhp. I'd take that over massive mid range.

    Tom's Meg 225 - The Clio Replacement

Very much so. It'll be going up for sale though. Just had planning permission for a loft conversion. Or I get rid of the Clio Trophy 220 and get a cheap dirty diesel daily and keep the Meg.

    Tom's Meg 225 - The Clio Replacement

Obligatory carousel photo. Look on the wife's face is because we had just found out our friends has crashed. No-one hurt though thankfully but the car is being scrapped in Adenau.

    Tom's Meg 225 - The Clio Replacement

Nothing yet. If I get the time and money I'll do a few bits to it and aim for 340ish.

    Tom's Meg 225 - The Clio Replacement

Taking it to Europe next week if the French don't scupper our plans. Hopefully get some of the obligatory Carousel pics! Fitted some carbon bullets, wind deflectors and a new radio. Also changed the tyres from the 235/40/17 NS2R to some 235/45/17 Avon ZV7. Rides really nicely on the road so...

Clio 200 EDC, are they really that bad?

I like my trophy. Tried the ST and the Clio 200. Didn't like the ST as it felt slow, didn't hold the road as well, suspension is pants and really dislike the giant Nokia 3210 dashboard. The 200 felt too grown up so I went with the 220. Got mine ex demo with the heated leathers so saved a fair...

few back on cs pics of the 200T EDC

Looks great. What size and offset are the wheels and tyres? Has the Itg and the turbosmart made it sound any different? What have you disconnected? Also I was looking in my engine bay amd noticed the black plastic pipe from the intercooler to the throttle body is really small!

    Piper cams advice.

I had reprofiles. Great cams and no noise. Get the 285 profile

    New Clio Trophy

I drove the 200, the ST and the 220. The 220 is the best by far but the ST isn't a bad car.

    New Clio Trophy

I've bought an ex demo and got the price down a bit further so it's a fair bit cheaper than brand new. I was debating between black and white and in the end I've gone solid white. I'll get the roof and spoiler wrapped black.

    New Clio Trophy

I'm doing a bit of a drive across Europe this summer including doing a few laps of the ring. I'm currently debating whether to take the Trophy or my big spec Mk2 Megane RS

RS Monaco Clio surprise (Renault Clio R.S.16)

Looks good, happy with my 220 trophy purchase though as a. I wouldn't be able to afford it, and b. Wife wouldn't like it as a daily. Interesting to see if it makes production but I doubt it, however it would be good to see a more extreme Clio.

    New Clio Trophy

Done the deal. It has the Trophy seats too. All for 3k over a 200. Can't wait! I drove the 200 about two years ago and it was good but didn't feel right to me. Tested the Trophy a couple of months ago and it left an impression. Although a 200 with springs, exhaust and remap would be similar...

    Bluetooth standards

I'm looking at getting a new double din HU that does everything and I'm torn between a Pioneer F970DAB and Kenwood DNX4150DAB. Same price, very similar features, Kenwood is a bit newer. The main difference is on the Bluetooth. One has Parrot Bluetooth but I can't find any other specifications...

    New Clio Trophy

The only thing putting me off the cup s is tax, mpg, tyres, brakes and only 3 doors. As a daily it's not ideal for me. The Clio is cheaper to run and 5 doors makes it wife and kids friendly!

    Abarth 124 Spider opinion

Like the idea of these, exhaust sounds a bit funny though

    New Clio Trophy

Thinking of one as a daily. Ticks the boxes of being a semi auto with usual refinements like climate, auto lights wipers etc, heated leathers, great handling and compliance, 5 doors, spacious for its segment, sounds good. Anything inherently wrong with them? The gearbox is a Getrag unit and the...

Any one interested in old bikes? - Norton content

Sorry to hear about your family. I lost my aunt and my mum, it's tough. I'd restore it, I love old British bikes and think they're cool as... As has been said, they're only going up in value and in a few years it might be the difference between getting a dream house or something else and...
