even the ag renovator and engine cleaner? i read good things on here about engine cleaner (obviously not for cleaning the paintwork)
don't forget im nearer the other end of the cleaning scale to you. for me, as long as i'm not using a sponge and washing up liquid, i'm happy.
this is what i've got currently:
wash
turtle wax zip shampoo
clean
meguiars clay bar
ag paint renovator
ag engine/machine cleaner
polish glaze wax
eagle f1 polish?
mer polish
turtle wax wax. its in a blue tin, quite old.
sealant
turtle wax gloss guard
microfibre towels and...

done that on a really tight s bend before in my 205 gti, went flying up the kerb sideways, but no damage! not what you want to hear, but don't worry, karma got me in the end :)
i assume the tyres will wear unevenly with the tracking out. if the tyres have spent over half their life with the tracking out, correcting the tracking could mean the tyres would go off quicker, or the ride would be really bad. the other option of course is to wait until i get new tyres and get...
is it worth getting the tracking done part way through a tyres life? my tyres have 4mm at the moment but it pulls slightly right. if i get it tracked now, will the tyres wear double quick and my handling go off key?
Re: Just fitted powerflex dogbone bushes, and NOW i get knocking on hard acceleration
pulled it all the way forward and still knocking. took the bush out and looks in good condition. i need to check the gearbox mount when i pick up some new sockets next week.
i had a look at what causes the...
will do. on the back of that cool exhaust clamp not doing it's job i ordered some 66mm horseshoe clamps. ktec uses 66mm. ordered some from ebay, and they sent me 67mm. like thats gonna help :(
top dead centre, its the point at which the piston in cylinder 1 is at its highest point.. i think.. theres a sensor that looks for this to help with the engine timing. if the sensors not working properly, the timing will be off.
that's more than likely what the problem is. when i get home i'll dance around it seven times in my mankini then try and start it by turning the key with my teeth and rev it with my bum bum.
i used b&q brick and patio cleaner on one of my alloys. it looked like it had years of brake dust layered up. wonder wheels didn't touch it. tried other stuff that did even less than wonder wheels. in the end i got a litre of b&q stuff for £6 and diluted it 50/50. i made sure i kept spraying...
not sure if the hunting and hesitation are related, but they seemed to both happen after cleaning the tb.
when coming off the throttle into neutral, it hunts between 1000 and 1500, then settles after a few seconds to 1000. before i removed the tb it didnt hunt and sat at 850-900.
the...
i have a dell e521 with a damn btx motherboard that is no more. i need to replace it with an atx or matx motherboard (and new case) but not sure what specs i should be concerned about. i want to use as much of my current set up as possible. i have:
amd 64 x2 dual core
4 dimms ddr2 think its 667...
only had mine a couple of weeks too. well, 4. since i've had it i haven't seen another cup, it's nice being a bit or a rarity. seem to get lots of glances from saxo owners though...?
ok no worries it sounded like you were going bigger because you were worried about your splitter meeting ground, just re-read your post and it makes sense to me now :)
think i need to replace my carbon fibre front diamond for an original one. wasn't sure about it, but after seeing those pics i'll be getting an original.
could be a few things. recent things i've experienced, not just with clios, are when i removed my throttle body and refitted it, it would hesitate sometimes. another one is coolant temperature sensor, or thermostat. this is more hesitation though rather than a few seconds. is the engine getting...
i agree with getting the 150 piece halfords set. i think its always half price at £99, should be better value than the 120 piece set, but i don't know what the extra 30 pieces are. it has the lifetime guarantee. i would buy this if i needed a new tool kit, or if i had a spare £100 laying around...
