hmmm, wonder wheels wasn't as wonderful as i'd hoped, though realistically i'd have been utterly impressed if it had sorted out my wheel.
this is after one application of wonder wheels, agitator brush, then very stiff brush:
this is after four applications of wonder wheels, agitator...
we all start somewhere. get a torx bit and you can't go wrong. the bolts won't come all the way out, they will stay in the plastic lid, but plenty loose enough to pull the lid off
you said you dont want to do track days, but a couple of track days with some driver tuition could be good, it will help you get the most out of the car and you could probably drive it faster then any mods would let you...?
as said above they don't suffer from anything that other 1*2 don't suffer from. engine and exhaust mounts are too weak but upgrades are available. bad point for me is that i don't find the seats very comfortable, there's no real back support in the seats at all. you can retrofit the standard...
they're probably talking about the shocks/struts. don't know how much they are from renault (probably c.£50 + VAT) but www.auto-nation.com have them for £48 each. delivery is around £8 but as a club member you get 5% discount, discount code is in the trader section.

this is what i have in between every spoke...
this is after 5-10mins with neat daisy spc and a cheap washing up sponge/scourer...

it looks like the previous owner has neglected just the one alloy for its whole life. the dust is seriously baked on. i've tried neat daisy apc, autoglym paint renovator and t-cut (basically what's in my shed) but it does nothing. i've read about brick acid (?) but perhaps i should try some...
my car is farting a bit where the cat joins the centre section. where the exhaust has four slits around it to aid fitting, there's gases coming from one of those. the horse-shoe style exhaust clamp a la:
has had it so needs replacing, but are these clamps actually any good? they only put...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
i was thinking the same about the tyres. always fancied dark alloys too. only drawback is i would have to factor in the cost of lowered suspension too, the standard height is too high and would look worse with smaller alloys.
the picture at the top and the link to the k-tec racing bushes further down are for two different parts of the car. the pic at the top may well be for your car, they connect the end of the ARB to the wishbone, where most cars would have a droplink. then there will be two or four ARB bushes...
simples, it's basic business. supply & demand. there isn't enough mk3 clio sports on the road for companies to warrant spending tons of cash developing products. my 2p.
