    If its on 04 plate it wont suffer from the wire rubbing problem, they come with a different ECU mounted behind the battery.

    NGK PFRE-10 are the plugs to buy they are usually £10+vat ish from motor factors or £20 each from the stealer

    Panel filter

    the accoustic valve keeps induction noise down and aids cold running of the engine. By removing it you get a louder induction noise and 2 always on cold air feeds to the airbox, lots of people have removed it and said how much better the car responds.

    Well you dont get the main power until 5k rpm they like to be driven hard, the engines are very good and as long as you dont rush the gearbox it'll last ages.

    Removing the valve allows more cold air to enter the airbox, you could run a straight caf if you wanted to the grill.

    ITG panel is the best - the airbox has 2 caf's as standard, you dont need to upgrade it just remove the valve at the bottom of it

    You should have trimmed the rear calipers, i had to do this as my toora's catch the calipers.

    what year is your 1.2? Do you want increase in performance or just sound?

    engine conversion and MOT

    You will need to update the DVLA with the engine size, MOT has gone computerised now and the tester will input the engine size as being 1998cc if you change it to an F4R. The engine size doesnt affect the emissions test it just needs to be under a certain percentage of CO and HO for it to pass...

    STOP and battery light

    Check the live cable going to the alternator usually it corrodes at the fixing. Also check the alternator signal cable it may be loose.

    Booked my car in for its 60mm lowering sesh!

    Dont buy the spax i had them and the rear shocks kept bursting i had 4 pairs and finally gave up on them. The same thing happened to edde, in spax's defence they could have sorted the issue out by now as this was some 2 years ago.

    Poly bushes WOW !!!

    All DCI's ive worked on have the same thickness ARB as the other non sports. I have never worked on a DCI100 though.

    exhaust problem again

    The 1.2 16v doesnt have the "spring" kit that the 172 has its just a flange bolted to a cast iron manifold. Just past the down pipe it has a piece of flexipipe this is integrated into the whole cat. I think they have replaced the flexipipe but it had come loose.

    Poly bushes WOW !!!

    The 23mm inner anti roll bar bushes from powerflex are impossible to fit, i tried and failed. Ktec didnt want to know as they had fitted some to their super turbo 172 with no problems. i ended up not fitting them. The 172 front anti roll bar is 28mm, lesser clios have a 23mm.

    Does the earth nearest to the UCH have a good connection? Also check the injectors fuse its in the engine bay fuse box.

    HELP pls!!

    Hi The top clocks are off a phase 2 clio the bottom are phase1. As your car is a phase 1 the phase 2 clocks will not work. You cannot even chop the wires due to the phase 2 having multiplexed wiring.

    Will my airbag light come on??

    The momo boss kit fits all after market wheels and comes with a resistor to switch the light off. You wont fail an MOT for an airbag light. Does your car have traction control?

    OMFG Finally Upgraded

    I am with bethere on fastpath i did see speeds of 20mbits but i am afraid that 128k is common at peak times most days and all weekend.
