Following from the other thread in this section I posted. Another problem he seems to have is that the car judders or misfires maybe when trying to pull away at low speeds. For example, I drove it and when you are in 3rd gear at 20mph and you put your foot down the car stutters for 1 or 2...
My mate has bought himself a bit of a rough 172 which has a few problems, nothing serious but none the less needs fixing.
When he is turning the car left or right (i think) there is a clicking noise coming from drivers side wheel area. the clicks get quicker with speed so I am assuming it is...
just out of interest, are all engines like this? If not why did renault do it for this engine? Also, what happens if you break your rocker cover, can't buy a replacement from renault?!
I changed my rear shocks last week, 10 minutes per side. You must have a mate who is half decent with a socket set? It is literally 1 bolt and 1 nut per side!

I have always wanted a night out in Bristol, heard great things. Shame I am so far away! I am actually off out in Bath next weekend for a uni mates b-day, 1 day I will make it that bit further to brizzle.
How would this work?! Just incase everyone is not understanding me, im talking about the rubber mount that lives on the strut and sits under the car not the rubber mount thing inside the car under the cap.
Anyway, the brand new 1's I am picking up have new parts on them.
