    DIY Matched Inlets/Polishing? (172 Cup)

Not done this before but i might give it a go, i'm a high precision CNC setter/machinist. So i'm after some info, its my understanding that the aim is to match the ports on each end of the inlet manifold and to polish the insides? Are there any guides around for removing the inlet manifold? I...

    whistling from exhaust.

My Cup does it after 5k in all gears, sounds like its coming from the exhaust. I dont have air con so i'll have a look at the alternator.

After some feedback on Clio RS tuning packages

Can't see that being a problem, most Cups don't have it anyway. I think most people would prefer a supercharger over aircon anyway.

    Carpeting A Stripped Out Rear?

Currently my car has had the rear seats removed and a MSV rear half cage bolted in, as i have quite a few hobbies i'd like to be able to use the rear of the car to chuck everything in so would like to cover over the wheel well, carpet the lot and fit my cargo nets. As it is the rear is not great...

Nice work, looks smart. Only let down is the number plate in the front window, just ruins it imo, looks well messy.

My 182 onboard footage round the Nurburgring

Makes you more competitive, ie trying to beat your previous time which in turn means your more likely to drive harder and push it too much which is obviuosly dangerous. Same applys to track days, no filming and no stop watches.

    Universal Total Closure...

Anyone ever fitted a universal total closure kit? I'm no electrician but i'm guessing you'll have to connect one end of the 'box' to the cars 'arming/deadocking' wire and the other end to the 'window up' wire (more than likely by splicing into existing wires??). Can anyone elaborate...

Tempted To Trade In My LCR For A 197

I came from a 220bhp Ibiza Cupra to a 172 Cup also spent quite a bit of time driving a 2001 remapped LRC (260ish bhp) and the 172 Cup is sooo much more fun to drive (and cheaper to run). I'd say you wouldnt regret leaving the LCR for a 197 Cup.
