That looks quite good although i'm liking the idea of how small the Flip is so it would be perfect for me to take out to raves etc. And at 100grams + battery i could strap it to my RC combat wings. I dont think the 2GB wouyld bother me too much as if i was planning on filming alot during a day...

Nice one lads, yeah all i need are the 'h' measurement in the above drawing, the overall diameter of the top lip (think i did mine Ø32mm) and the bore size through the middle (Ø16.10mm IIRC). Then i'll make a load. Probably be stainless steel.

Not many pics of 172 Cups on Sportines but i did find this one on Pistonheads that is on Sportlines, seems to be lower than mine but i'm guessing they've been fitted longer than mine...

Thing is if people realised there would be a steady supply of them then they won't be willing to spend so much.

Yeah it seems we have to options: 1. Shorten original sleeve & add custom shim. 2. Make custom 1-piece sleeve that is shorter and incorporates the shim. As for making more, i personally won't be able to for a while as i only have access to machines every other week and currently already...

Ok progress has been slow for various reasons, so heres a tiny update... New plates... De-wiper (excuse the dirt)... Custom gear lever... Eibach Sportlines...

The Cup will sit higher yes, and also take longer to settle. I have time i'll get a pic of mine in a bit. My sportlines have been on for 350miles now.

Because to change springs you need to remove the front dampers.

Had mine on for 350miles (had it tracked after 200miles) now and the car has felt fine since day one, your tyres ok? As you'll now have less body roll you'll be putting more force on the tyres when cornering.

Just to add, i will hopefully be making custom gear knobs to match but i'm not sure when i'll be able to get on to that.

I'll do a batch of these then, will start work next Monday, will do 5 for starters. When they'll be ready will depend largely on how busy i am next week which i'm unsure of at the minute. Will update this thread as and when i progress.

If the DC2 has less than 200NM then yes.

The Cup has a max of 200NM of torque IIRC.

Without measuring i think at its widest its ∅31mm and at its smallest its ∅15mm and around 140mm long (not inc cable hook).

ATS did my last car for around £35, that was with Shell Helix fully synthetic.
