When i went up to Santa Pod for the first time
I went against 2 106 Gtis one which was kitted up, which i beat
And one which had been stripped out which i beat also.
This was in my valver which still had its interior and 1/2 tank of petrol.
I used to do alot of folding on my pcs but dont do much now.
was the team i used to fold for: http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&teamnum=596&username=Arj256
I found the easiest way to bleed my system was to let the bubbles out of the radiator and when that stopped did it back up and then, left the cap off the coolant bottle with enough coolant in the system and then held the revs at 1500rpm until the fan kicked in
Waited for it to cool down and...
I have sent off my cd player as it has become jumpy, and according to the people who have it, they say that it is not suposed to work at a angle more than 30Deg
So what is the angle that the headunit sits in when in a mk1?
Thanks.
You could always lengthen the earth lead when fitting it and put the earth elsewhere but it is better to have a short as possible earth.
You do need to connect it directly to the battery due to its internal amp.
But it wasnt the thread starter who initially started the personal attacks. Just started a debate which people couldnt talk about maturely.
Never mind, im not taking sides.
I was there in my Blue Valver, first time at the pod and enjoyed it. best time of the day for me was 15.920 in my standard bar de-cat valver.
Think it would of been quicker if i didnt have 1/2 tank of fuel lol.
Whats wrong with 1.2s? with the right setup they can give bigger cars a good run for there money.
He may of put those seats in for track use (doubt it though)
To late to ask?
I have a 54mm bolt spacing on my 97 mk1. currently have a spax shock/spring setup which i fitted at the mo.
I also do alot of track days etc. so dont mind testing them ;)
