not sure if its the same on the 172 as the 182 but the 182 has a + and - on one side for speed in cruise control and the R and O relate to R if you brake it turns it back on at the last speed i think and if you just turned it on for setting the speed, the O is for off.
i have only used it once...
gutted i kew i should have done my belt a few months ago before renault but the price up, my cars only on 27k but it makes s light whine sometimes like its overtight.
when i added my decat to the 182 matched to a btb system it did deepen the tone a bit and i agree a little more boomey on the motorway, i didnt notice any change in my mpg. its a nice metalic sound (almost like i would expect a bmw m-series to sound like if they did a current 4pot one, a metalic...
yes im still running the btb and yozza decat, not a huge increase in noise i would say its now only as loud as some cars are with a cat back system which is really just what i wanted.
dont bother with sport cat, you can get a 120cell i think but for the money v gains on a 182 i dont think they...
i have a btb system mate and i fitted a yozza decat last year and i was very impressed with the quality and fit, the very slight bend in it helps the tailpipes sit perfect.
just get the car in the air, unbolt your cat and bolt in your new decat, i think i had to get a new universal exhaust...
didnt some people on here report that last summer they were ripping chunks of them on spirited country drives after about 3k? i have always liked the look of them and will be considering them come renewal.
the 182 alloy wheel design isnt the best for cooling, well looked after std brakes are fine for normal driving but i have found them struggling and overheating once or twice (although hasten to add not 140mph antics just country road blasts)
from what your saying you may need uprated items to...
i have the creaking as well i ordered some washers a while ago but not got round to fitting them, is it an easy job? did a searh other day for a guide but 1000's of threads for the washers.
had upper and lower on my old 106gti and i did feel a difference, but on the clio they seem pretty stiff and i dont fancy drilling and tapping so im not going to bother with front i have got a rear one in anthracite but to be honest the only diff that makes is that it sqeaks a bit with...
yeah the orig cat is already a 200cell job so a sports cat may not make much diff, i have a yozza decat fitted had it on for about 5 months and love it, makes a nice sound with my btb system and my light has not come on yet. i bought a obd code reader for £10 to reset the light if it comes on...
i had a figure of 166 @ wheels once and the rr operator printed off two graphs the at wheel and fly wheel. they quoted a fly figure at 188.9
pinch of salt though all cars have diff loses and always arguements about accuracy of fly v wheel figures.
looks very nice mate, shame i didnt get to hear it at waynes for the rr session (i think i have only just warmed up) glad your happy with it and good luck with the sales.
birchdown services have a good rep amongst clio owners, i have not yet used them myself but have a search and see what people have said. they both ex renault chaps and own rs clios themselves.
as above yeash it will, its air entering the engine thats not been measured by the air flow meter, i think i heard it called "dead air" once but thats prob just a local mechanic saying.
2 buildings paul has a new unit for the tuning side/mapping and his dad runs the mechanical servicing side, only about 5 minutes away from each other.
i as happy with my 24k service which they carried out for me few months ago.
heard parada have some issues in the dry though under hard use ripping blocks of tread off.
i used a539s for a few years and was happy with them for grip v price as for hunting around for old stock i would much rather get a new fresh tyre than some old rubber thats been lying around for 12 months.
would be good to know if original dimma ask him for a photo of vin plate? would still cost to much to return to something i would be seen behind the wheel off.
just get one with std font no borders or badge etc and as long as your rear is std you should be fine, had mine on for a while and no problems.
its readble and quite subtle some on here dont like them as always its a matter of taste.
i just picked up some brembo hc front discs for £55 + vat from german swedish and french, only performance pads they had were mintex though not really what i wanted but they were only £22 + vat so will do for a while i would have liked to have gone for some ds2500's (yozzasport) but time was a...
