hope the spec c went to a good home mate, i bet the local petrol station will be putting up some "missing" posters for you. get some full pics up of the new motor.
same as bbc, when cars been waxed recently i like to use the ag stuff, if its been a few weeks i use a massive 5 litre bottle of cheap stuff from local cash and carry wash and wax.
to the best of my knowledge as long as the letters are the correct size and font, the spacing between the letters is std and the backing is reflective they should still be legal.
dont the parada when pushed hard start to have chunks ripped off them? heard a few people on here mention very high wear rates although i dont have any personal experience of them, do look sexy though.
this month evo has a big tyre test and the goodyear eagle f1 asymetric won nip into whs smiths and have a flick through it very comprehensive test, i like michelins but am also quite happy with the pirelli p zero nero i have fitted to the front offside when i got a puncture.
cost half of the...
good skills i used to own a peugeot 106 gti in red which i had 5 years and red is a bugger for fading, looks in good nick. you also did a good job in getting all that done in 5-6 hours.
i used the 3 stage on my wifes old red car and made a huge diff, i hope the rain keeps of it for you.
all insurance companies must update the national database with policy details but this can take a few days and monday-friday 9am-5pm there is a insurance helpline as a further double check.
if both of those show no insurance and you dont have it on you then the car can be seized under sec 165...
i thought 24 k service for a 182 is the same as a 12k service (an A) is just oil, oil filter, air filter and pollen filter (if you have one) everything else is just a long list of checks and topping up of fluids (washer/coolant/brake fluid) if they require.
there is a thread on here somewhere...
im sure it would still be cheaper for you to travel a bit furhter and use an rs specialist, rs tuning in leeds are about £100 cheaper than my local dealers for my 24 k service.
also worth considering at renault the mechanics will deal with every single renault ever made and only a small no...
if panel filter or induction kit are your two options then a panel filter, however as jamesp24 said best gains sem to be from the enclosed induction kits like maxogen/vipers but cost is quite a bit more.
i have added an itg panel filter to my car and happy with it.
i think the ph 1 airbox had just 1 large cold air feed v the 2 smaller ones on the later models (one cold and one luke warm) and some tuners etc try and get hold of these and retro fit them to newer models.
were not saying a £40 filter will make a driveable diff, however if you plan on keeping...
i plan on using rs tuning for my 24k service, only about 45 minutes away from me in mcr.
they were over £100 cheaper than my local stealers for the 24k jobby.
i would go for a panel filter £40 and easily swapped back to oe (plus cheaper than maxogen but if you were after max bhp then that would prob be the best to go for), cant comment on the janspeed as i havnt got one or heard one i went for a btb system but you cant get them anymore, as for the...
make sure the sports cat are really hot before they take any readings, the 100cell jobbies need to be really hot, also can you wind the boost down a bit? that should help and maybe some of that emission reducing tank addative you see in halfords as a last resort? may work havnt tried it.
i remember hearing/reading somewhere a while ago that the oil vapour relased back into the intake assist in lubricating throttle body etc and the oil vapour helps keep it all running nice and smooth without the springs stiffening etc?
is that rubbish?
dont think so they will need half a dozen confirmed orders before they make any more. have to order a batch to keep costs down.
glad it went to a fellow cs member, nice to be exclusive.
i have one and love it, glad i managed to get one.
warranty shouldnt be a problem as btb made the system and they still trade so any problems and they should sort them out.
did the last one goto a CS member? a chap flagged me down a few weeks ago called kevin from north west area and i...
i was thinking about this but after speaking to a couple of people that have had it done im not sure im going to do it, it seems 172's and maybe early 182's get some quite good results from this matching but later RS inlet manifolds on later 182's and trophys dont get the same gains.
all...
day - thats looks like a good job i bet thats pretty solid. whats the blue material and what system are you running as doesnt look like the btb mounts.
my mounts were in good nick and to be honest i didnt really get any movement and it sat 100% centered but i used 2 cable ties per mount just...
once you have changed your filter and exhaust (cat back/ de cat or with silenced de-cat) all persoanl preffernce really then chip it, it will get the most out of the mods you have done.
dont expect huge gains but this is about as far as you can go without spending some serious money.
i have...
you can buy ventilated car covers but quite expensive and if put them in the garage they will be ventilating moist air, best bet is to buy some kind of equipment for the garage to heat it/dry it out?
is it not worth a few quid sorting the damp out for the future anyway? roof etc?
check the...
