    Harness Bar.....

Yes, it's a better option, although the tension angle of the belt is not ideal, it should be more slack.

are 182 heads ported as standard

That's totally normal. It's a mass manufactured unit that is then hit with a dose of CNC work for a better / more repeatable finish.

182- LOUD Whine Above 3000rpm with throttle flat/nearly flat? Anyone had this?

That's totally normal, and that's the main crank pulley, the idler is the furthest foward on the aux setup at the bottom. I'd also be dubious that you can check the wear of the belt visually, or even while it is on the car at all!

Bomber's Reliable Savage Supercharged Snorting Slut of a Ph1

Re: Bomber's Savage Supercharged Snorting Slut of a Ph1 Good figures! Belt slip is bad news if there is even the slightest present.

182- LOUD Whine Above 3000rpm with throttle flat/nearly flat? Anyone had this?

I'll hedge a bet with an Aux belt idler. Always follows rpm in pitch and volume and does sound 'charger' like.

    Russ_16v's ITB'd & Caged 182 Track Car (Was Crispy's)

Yes you can strip and refinish, however the parts that are being treated need to be single, so without the spherical bearings etc within them. In the case of the top mounts they would need to be completely broken down.

Had car on the dyno and highlighted a problem - Need some help

SRR is actually very relibale in my expierence. It reads within 1-2bhp every year on the same cars that attend, and usually lands around 1-2 bhp within a comparative reading at RSTuning.

^ Is that an accidental picture? Or an 'arty' one? lol (I quite like it btw!) On another note we replace our crank locking pin every six months - I believe Fred does it every three!!

    Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/Wilwood/2118

Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project Lies. 197 wheel is 100% fine, the 200 wheel however has the slighest difference in the length of the metal tabs that run into the column / yaw & steering angle sensor. My old motor:

    JMS 182 Racecar.

Sorry not meant to be defensive - on phone so only wording quickly. No I don't know the power limitation of the RS2 (yet) however this car isn't for the development of that product any longer - I have another car for that. The role of this car is to provide reliable, proven output using a...
