Just got these pics and videos off my mate who was there. As I forgot my camera  his are the only ones I've got. They are just of my clio and the teg as he ran out of memory after that, lol.

As said above the cambelt is do-able with the engine still in place - just need to remove the top mount and support the engine from below. Its a bit of a pain as there won't be much room but can be done.
As for the gearbox it will probably just be the gearbox fucked but try posting on...
Just out of interest had anyone who was there had their car on any other rolling roads and how did the figures compare? especially the @ the wheels figures?
Just wondering really as I've found the old figures for mine and whilst the figure at the fly and the torque figure is pretty much the...
My splitter was scrapping when it was on the RR as well. The guy had to ask me if it was ok as it would leave a mark on the splitter as the only time it didn't touch was when he had his foot down as it was pitching back the way. I just told him to cut it off if he wanted to as I don't really...
Yeah I was pretty pleased with the power figure I got. Would have been nice to have had a few more Mk1s along though, too many of these Mk2's floating about ;) .
Some nice pics guys, none of mine though :dapprove: but I'll post up some of my own when I get them on the computer.
Was pretty disappointed that the cup racer didn't make it on - I would have been away by then anyway but would have been interested to see what it ran.
Sorry I might not have been clear, I know I don't need to have a spare wheel and won't have one in the car for the MOT. What I was wondering though is if I still need to have a jack and wheelbrace in the car even if I don't have a spare.
I'm going to MOT the hybrid tomorrow hopefully but just a quick question. I know you don't need to have a spare wheel - but if you don't have one do you still need to have a jack and wheelbrace?
Also, I have harnesses and also the original seatbelt but they share some of the same mounting...
The main problem with the williams is that they are old now so the time varies greatly from car to car. Some williams engines are running a good bit over 150bhp in standard trim with just an exhaust (who knows why) and can easily beat that 0-60 time especially with a raised rev limiter. Imo with...
haha, tbh I hadn't realised you were the same Flan that had the 1.8T at first - if I had I wouldn't even have asked as you know the true value of it, lol.
Yup I notice quite a difference tbh, but if I'm giving it full chat it normally makes no difference as the roads are that greasy all I get is wheelspin anyway unles i'm in 3rd or above (even in 3rd it sometimes spins though - fuckin hate greasy roads!).
Yes it will fit, very straightforward swap and will also give a little more power.
Looms should be exactly the same but you may need the 1.4 ECU, I would imagine it will run on the 1.2 ECU but you would be better off getting the 1.4 ECU.
Basically, for her christmas my mum was wanting some lenses for her camera (Canon A720 IS). After being in at the shop she bought it from she decided she wanted a teleconverter lens, lens adapter and a UV filter.
I was browsing on eBay to see what they had on there and I noticed these kits...
I've not read the rest of the replies here, but what I would say is wait until you have had you license for 2 years and thats when you can really find the price will drop. I had my hybrid insured for just under £800 a year at 19.
It is possible that the caliper could be the problem with your handbrake as they have been known to fail on valvers. My handbarke is s**t as well but I haven't got round to fixing it yet. If your not confident in the guys opinion or don't trust him then try taking it to another garage or a...
Dan - Is yours not a traders policy though?
With regards Flux, they may be good for some but they have always been well off the mark whenever I have tried them.
I know there can be issues with the law about these, but if you were pulled over by the police what would be the likely outcome - would you just be told to change them or would you be fined etc?
Hopefully I wouldn't get pulled over as I know of a few people local to me running similar kits who...
I think these are still ongoing tbh as I saw something in a thread the other day where somone had pictures of the set Ben had developed for the 1.6 clios, so hopefully they will appear at some point.
Anymore details? who from and how much?
Another quick question - if you go for a Hi/Lo set do they normally use xenons for the dipped beam and go back to halogens for the full beam or is it normally xenons for both?
Just wondering as I had thought they used xenons for both but it seems that might not be the case. I know some...
