The colour is quite cool if you're having yours that colour. Body kits never seem to look good though and that mesh you have to put in the gaps always looks complete gash. The location of the number plate on the one it that pic looks like an afterthought.
Personally I'd find a different way to...
25mm steel spacers weigh about 2kg's each so you are looking at a little over 4kg's unsprung weight per pair of wheels. Fitted a set of 25mm alloy ones today and they are a lot lighter but haven't weighed them so couldn't tell you exactly but I'd say the alloy ones are probably 0.5kg's each so...
Basically fitted hubcentric 25mm fk's to the front today, nice and easy. But on checking my bolts with the 15mm spacers for the rear they would bottom out on the hub so left them as I didn't have time to piss about before the rugby.
Question I have is what have people been doing about fitting...

Why not, would be good to meet some of you guys and March is the month of hell for me so a night out in the Diff would be good
Probly being thick but where is the thread re the meet in the Wales regional section. Love the pics btw OP
I am not featured in the recent Bouncers prog btw incase any of you are avoiding such trolls from Newport
A few hours drive or a chill? If you want to park up, have some food but avoid the town crush then either the bay or head to Newport it's great :quiet:
get in the parts for sale section and browse the various project threads. There's always ebay for things like carbon bullets. Personally I think the OE aerial looks perfect but I believe the vauxhaul insignia one fits and the honda civic one certainly does e.g...
Ahh yes exactly cheers buddy. I've got the bit with the stick on held on with a cable tie and some broken bits still attached to the bumper but nothing inbetween. That settles it I'm forking out for an undertray
Hi. Basically since I bought my clio the undertray has been missing apart from a tiny bit the previous owner left hanging onto the front bumper (also the belly pan was missing). As I'm sure it's letting loads of road muck up and surface spray up into the engine bay I'm going to buy a replacement...
Yeah got some copper grease from doing my disks so will slap some on. James was it your thread where you werewere having to angle grind the spacer off? If it was I'm definitely going to avoid that, looked like a right pain.
As per title really. What's the general consensus on the impact on ride and handling from those who have used spacers.
I've just bought hubcentric 25mm for the front and 15's for the rear having seen that set-up on a project thread on here and should be fitting them this weekend. All FK...
The stuff you've got 'stuck' to your lights is probably clouding/milkyness caused by using 800 grit (i'm guessing here as you've not put a pic up). Give it some elbox grease with 1500, 2000 grit paper and I finished mine off with a black and decker with a polishing attachment from halfrauds and...
Oh and I should have said if you search on here and youtube there's a few vids of folks and their knackered dephasers so you can compare the sounds
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nrhsjsM2_0 this is a perfect example
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Mb0jH548o - same car as the next clip but is...
the easy way to check if it's your dephaser is open the bonnet, get the car up to temperature and get someone to sit in the car and rev the engine gently back and forth from 1000 to say 3500 rpm while you listen to the engine. At about 2500 rpm the tapping will stop (significantly diminish) if...
Random shot in the dark but I was driving my old mans Metro a looong time ago now when the head gasket went and f**k loads of steam was coming out of the bonnet.
When my rad went late last year and the symptoms were overheating and steam coming out the engine bay someone suggested a head gasket...
search is your friend http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?422117-green-gearstick-light if it's the green light which looks like a gear knob it's the light to tell you to change up before you hit the rev limitter. From your description you're not revving the nuts off the engine so it...
Got the orange thing off ebay myself this week due to engine management light being on and not going away for weeks (no impact on the cars performance or feel etc). Gave a code as cat not working efficiently. Reset and been driving about all week and it's not come back. So I guess as a cheap...
Are you suggesting
1 - Cat owners should keep their cats in the house and take them for walks on a lead like a dog - mental
2 - Cat owners just shouldn't let cats out at all and have them s**t in a box in the house for 18 years - smelly
3 - Cat owners should keep the same ungodly hours as their...
I had a 1.4 8v clio sport until about a year ago, was a mk2 ph1. Didn't have a sport badge on the rear but the side strips had an S on like you see the RN, RSI, 1.2 etc on the other models at the same time. Had the twin optic lights, rubbery splitter and a few other bits which made it look...
If you could get a flame red high temp paint that would possibly loo pretty good.
Not sure gold would work as the bullets are silver and i don't think spraying them gold to match would be much of a look.
Your ph1 looks really tidy dmallet. Those vents on the bumper of the ph1 are awesome. Ph1...
Think i've got a full set of the rubber covers knocking about spare if you want em. I'll bung em in a jiffy bag for the cost of the postage. Drop me a pm if you want them.
