Yes it has a willy widetrack and the diffference is amazing! I'll never go back to standard track!! Its lowered by 45mm with torsion bar set to match! All work including conversion done by yours truly!

Vernier pullies allow you to set up the timing correctly to give the best possible performance when using uprated cam shafts.
If you look at the picture below, you will see the pully has 4 bolts. These had worked there way loose advancing the timing by something stupid like...
Yeah i know dude. Very excited. I only drove it briefly before things went wrong and it felt very fast. Should be fun you will all see it at FCS if your comming - clio16valver stand.

Yes indeed the hill power Lump Ali! Some jock strap obviously messed with it before i fitted it spose i should have checked but i didnt think! Been advised its the best part of 180-190bhp - Should be interesting!

After a slight scare due to thinking the bottom end was nakered, and running issues with the new lump, alll 'appears' to be well the the Tungy now! Turned out that the adjuster bolts on one of the vernier pullies had worked there way loose causing some rattling and non running...
H reg! Very rare indeed!!! Is it a non sunroof model? From what i heard there where only a few H reg's made which were used as demonstrators for Renault dealers! Pics!
I've never seen one at a dealer for that money! Like i said i dont mind paying that little bit more as its from a dealer, i'll get a years warranty so should something happen i can take it back!
I dont know about the ally bonnet & shift light but its had a cambelt and pulley which is good news! Hpi clear also. The main reason im buying it from, the dealer is because i'll get a years warranty and its just been fully serviced, battled to get money off but they wouldnt budge payin just...
2000 X (one of the last?), from a dealer and its done 50k. They have told me its just had a major service and a cam belt with full Renault history also. Completely standard absolute minter!

Update, Old engine is out, old rack is off rain screwed things up big time but clutch, gearbox and starter are all fitted to new lump. Its being built up this afternoon/this evening, pics to follow!

It may well be more, dont want to be too optimistic! Previous owner is looking for the ECU so hopefully wont have to fork out for a remap! Garanteed it will be quick!

Hehe! The element of suprise! Tomorow, old engine out, (cup of tea) clean bay, fit new steering rac (buggered p/s pipe), (cup of tea) fit oil cooler. Prep engine for monday when its having a head HG and cambelt (cup of tea), throw it in!!! woooooo
