    Piper cams kit

iirc it was 196bhp, car had previously ran 182bhp on RS tuning rollers with a different ECU to what ive got fitted now due to a UCH problem, 182bhp was with the same cat back exhaust and PiperX replacement filter element as now so only change has been the cams

basically Tony uses R1R's as wet weather tyres, he's also melted them to like chewing gum on track

    Piper cams kit

well seen as iv'e kept it quiet about plans of having these put in my cup i can now report that they've been fitted and mapped, it's really gave the car more get up and go. Mine has always been a bit of a strong one but it's a different kettle of fish now with these fitted it goes like a...

remap with v-power in the tank

hmm well it was aimed more towards Danny anyways lol, if it did indeed go down as Danny said well then nope it's not on but only they shall ever really know the truth

remap with v-power in the tank

tbh many people just need to move on and forget about the past as times change so do people, look how many people used 2 bang on about how great TDF was and now look they don't say nothing after the truth came out about just how SH*T they really are
  17. mitch1503

remap with v-power in the tank

yes but at the time he didn't know it wasn't bent, so at that moment in time Andy wasn't in the wrong by still charging as said if he still had to pay the roller hire which is what i'm saying but you seemed to struggle to grasp that
  18. mitch1503

remap with v-power in the tank

note i said if it had been bent, as at the time DannyR wouldn't of known if it was or not
  19. mitch1503

remap with v-power in the tank

Yeah but if he had to pay out for hire of rollers and your car was bent as you've said he told you then why would he NOT charge you?? when it would be your fault for giving him a car that he couldn't physically map due to the car not wanting to stay on the rollers genuine question btw, just curious
  20. mitch1503

remap with v-power in the tank

Figures are nothing but bullshit pub talk, its all about how the car drives. Mine made 182bhp on RS tuning rollers with just a cat back and panel filter, year later with a diffrent ECU and duff dephaser it made 166bhp, go figure ey, scott you've came across as a right tit tbh so just quit while...

    Oil leak

i had a leak from my breather cover recently, noticed 2 bolts had sheared the heads off but when Dan @ 519 removed the inlet to fix it we discovered all 8 had just sheared off, as said that should have been noticed when your belts were done, ideally need the rocker cover removing and re-sealing...

What to spend £500+ on a Trophy?

Tbh mate even new standard bushes it will make a great improvement as you'll be replacing the worn ones Powerflex are rated if you want to upgrade from standard
  24. mitch1503

What have you done to your car today ???

well not today but yesterday i had a oil leak from my breather plate sorted, all 8 bolts which hold it on had sheered the heads off and also cleaned the rocker cover up with some de-greaser and a few other bits and bobs

Daniel has summed it all up basically

remap with v-power in the tank

RS TUNER hasn't got any real performance gains, as i've said previously in this thread i've seen a few RS Tuner 'mapped' cars make basically standard figures, it may improve cold start and raise the rev limit but that's about it

Bye bye 330Ci, Hello Polo GTI

    Road Tyres - For track?

no wonder you killed them on track CUP_Phil, i cooked them on the bloody road on a spirited drive up a mountain road, absolute SH*T for dry roads imo seemed to be far to much give in the sidewalls and just didn't offer much confidence at all, i found T1R's pretty much on the wear blocks better...

    High mileage oil change

same as mick said, mines on 137k miles and i use ELF and it's spot on and hasn't had the easiest of life
  30. mitch1503

remap with v-power in the tank

also not really any performance gains, it's all about the cold start really i've seen a car with RS-tuner and it was basically average STANDARD figures
