technically the plates should have the makers name, postcode and the BS number on at all times, as well as legal sized letters and spacing. Its just that now, they actaully check that on MOTs as well.
Car just failed its MOT this morning as one of the rear Eibach Pro Line springs was broken. Luckily I have the original springs still, so the garage are fitting the rears back on.
I bought the springs from POTN in July 2007, so caled them and they say to send some phtos of the broken spring...
I know. I emailed them about it and they said you can adjust it by loosening the rear clamp, pushing the box up and tightening back up, have done that and its as high as I can get it, though there is still a gap between the exhaust and heat shield, garage also said tey cant adjust it anymore...
Yep, got it diret from K-Tec, ordered on the Monday or Tuesday, got it on the Thursday, and I live in North East Scotland so thats pretty quick delivery.
Got my local garage to fit it, I dont have axle stands etc, plus theydidnt charge much either.
mine is the sports one, to be honest, I...
I got my 36k service done in January, along with both belts changed, total cost £515 or thereabouts, dont remember exactly.
Exhaust only cost me £20 to have fitted.
Not the same exhaust, but a K-tec stealth sports exhaust on my 1.6, and a quick vid (of decidedly low quality lol)

Thanks for all the positive coments that everyone has made, I love it, aprt from the recent bills I have had to contend with to keep it on the road lol
I just fitted my completely plain, Halfords legal plates. No borders, very subtle shadowed postcode, name and BS number. I actually prefer them to my regular plates, they just look so much 'cleaner' will post pics tomorrow after it hopefully passes its MOT.
Cheers mate, the vids dont do it justice to be honest, does sound better in real life.
As for the running, i was so concious i had to go past camera i ended up running like a 'tard lol
Stationary Video, like i said the mic is s**t, lol

working on it, but my digi camera has a sit mic on it. Took a couple but you cant hear it very well, and it takes ages to upload the vids onto photobucket.
think it cost me £30 something before Chrimbo, off Ebay. Its from Hillpower though so I dare say if you give them a call they may have some more.
It isnt a replacement as such, it goes on over the existing cover, i stuck mine on using double sided adhesive pads from Halfrauds.
he coudnt get the time off work, you can plead by letter, and the letter about appearing for sentencing didnt state which court, it just said the court in elgin, scotland, i didnt know there were two courts either.
like i said, we thought there was only one court and it turns out we were in the wrong one, so we didnt even see anyone, they sentenced him without being there, he didnt even go to the hering, but pleaad guilty by letter, so its crazy how lenient they have been.
