In what way? How they are trying to show that the dropped bars is totally normal?
I'd empathise apart from the small fact that it never happened with my old iPhone 3G... (not that it's a problem for me, but I can 'make' it happen).
Are the engadget updates for real!?!
"Hey let's all sing this song: if you don't want an iPhone 4 don't buy it, if you bought one and you don't like it, bring it back."
Lol, if your phone is lighting up when you're on a call then that's an issue... proximity sensor. I'm sure I read somewhere that the update would fix it?
With a budget of £5,200, spend £10 of it on becoming a member on here and then get in the classifieds section. There's a load of 182's on there in various guises...
Most of the issues sound fairly small matey, spend less time being furious and more time enjoying looking at your shiny new toy which is in excellent cosmetic condition if nothing else!
182 splitters are made of soft cheese anyway, they break all the time.
If the tyres are a cheap brand then...
That makes no sense. Apple were selling simfree phones in their stores on launch day; they've created a whole price structure for them.
I suspect this particular chap was just given duff info.
Banded steels on a car this size are only going to work in 17/18's, which are pretty damn rare and expensive. Added to that the cost of widening them and you're talking money which could buy a cracking set of off the shelf rims...
Glad all's okay; still sounds odd that it dropped out the bottom though!
If you've not got the arb, what's the drive shaft rubbing on? The chassis itself?!? I though the sump would ground out before that...
95. It does get easier after the corner flag one. The keeper disappears and you just have little dudes moving slightly from side to side in front of you.
I got lazy and hit the post whilst trying to get some more lives... :(
Yes, yes it is. The slither of metal slips inside the back of the bracket to keep it in line and the little notch should be where the bolt is fed through.
With that out, I can't think of anything that stops the suspension from rotating within the cup...
Only just seen this! From my past experience I'd feel really uneasy driving that with just the same strut tightened really tight! As you say, coilovers are thinner than standard VW suspension (which are an absolute b**ch to remove and re-insert without a crowbar!) so they need proper tightening...
It feels in this thread now that people aren't allowed to say anything good about the phone without gettig branded a 'fanboy'... it's a shame because it's a brilliant piece of kit that isn't even being discussed for its merits.
