ohh no. Just dont go any higher than 15x7... And dont come to me with the bullsh#$ that you wont lose speed on reving and topspeed.
17" only starting for 220bhp @ wheels I would say.
ABS=more weight=over confidence to the driver when braking
learn to drive without it. Will make you a better one (feeling of the car is a beautifull thing).
its just my opinion. :/
why do you say your engine is going dead??
mk1 valver is diferent of mk2... dont know about ecus even thou they look pretty much the same.
mk1 doesnt have a lambda sensor or cat, so ecu doesnt read O2 from exhaust... no closed loop.
mk2 has got the mentioned above and a 5º inj for cold...
nope.. if its the 92 one it doesnt have an ecu and no cat.
Its the E6J engine (energy) with a solex 32 or equivalent carb.
hint: make him test the cylinder compression first!!! just to see how healthy it is. 9.5:1
dramatik, tas a ver pq e q eu prefiro o ppl de uk ao de pt? muito mais friendly nas ideias e recorrem sempre a criticas criativas!!!
Dont go more than 15x7... the car must roll well... fast reving is important for me at least. Losing an sec on 0-60 its a shame.
Ive seen...
if the RS ecu is not remapable then youre stuck! stand alone EMS could be pain when wiring into a loom, keeping the std ecu for those (give weight) car features. I think.
knowing this, you can wire a M3D into the RS... custom maping its the Stage2 pain... but, no pain no gain!
viva orlandopaulo. Fala com o BenR sobre os detalhes do uso de TBs no RS... esquece a tecnomap. Prefere mais por quem ja o fez e obteve bons resultados. O homem domina o assunto!!!
Benj, I was talking of the gains in %... 8v heads have more % gains because they are not so well developted has...
5W50 mate.... I know what Ive used on that lazy engine. I just dont usually keep in my room the oil cans, so no picture available.
eheh... Once I got my driving license (some years ago.. when turned 18) I slowed down on the drinking... too much responsability, and belive it. I dont drink when...
yes...
(this replys is more like IRC eheh)
The only reason I can see why I dont have any more pedal travel is that my car already has a valver master cylinder.
I would not be surprised since it also has got part of valvers interior.
I own a RTi... I dont think you uk ppl got this model...
dont be expecting more braking power... only less fatigue caused by the braking heat.
heard that some ppl had problems using this upgrade... too much pedal travel? Mine is the same as previous.
nopes... 5W50 Mobil 1. And who said Im from uk?! :P cant you tell by my speeling errors? :)
btw, our beer is stronger than yours. eheh
I just use this oil because it was on a cheap sell for over a couple of mouths.
On a turbo car and non-turbo I would say to use nothing under 10w... unless...
General rule, the good heads that come with good power (porting, etc for better flow) are the 8v engines. Just because most of them are ancient and in the earlier days not that development on flow.
16v dont give that much good gains (even thou gives better flow than a 8v worked head; dont get...
easy to know that... valver/willy uses 259x20.5mm vented discs.
mine valver calipers have "turbo" written on them. Dont know if they are the same as GTT.
