still waiting for any kind of reply from chadil...
maciek, just need to know what TBs are... jenvey? and diam 45mm wont be too much? on DCOE or DHLA is ok because this is not the choke size.
what about de radiator hot air clearenc? need to know also the length of the TBs + air filter...
Valver ppl...
what cams do you have (or had) and what was achived? power band (rpm).
this will help a lot clearing our minds about cams for valvers. :)
at that presure is the highest you should have on a T2... you should as well check the carb mix.
its too much explosive to some times get in control of the little "beast". :)
are the intercooler hoses holding up?
what about a uprated cambelt?

is this really uprated??? how usually does the willy/valver cambelt brakes? going down gears? starting the engine?
really sorry to hear that mate. "short of the change time"... how many? for safety Ive known guys that changed their cambelt on 60mil km... one did it on 40mil km after a trackday.
Safety.
How is the piston?
dont know about the 172 engine, but can really see it on a willy engine bay unless...
the wire or... front discs really in bad shape. If they have a lot of miles they will have a "stair" at the very edge. This may touch the sensor pad and the light comes up even thou the pad is new.
I have a similar problem (not that I get worried). When turning all the wheel to one side...
Ive seen BenRs work on heads. Really very very good work. Really impressive actually.
you can tell from talking to a guy if he knows the stuff. Want power? must open engine! eheh :)
willy has got a 4-1 exhaust manifold and the valver a 4-2-1.
4-1 gives you more peak power, but less mid-range.
4-2-1 gives you more mid-range but less peak power.
This is the theory, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Usually it does. :)
on another note:
Why the valver doesnt...
cant really understand why the abuse on alloy size. looks? why care if even there is alloys that you cant tell if they are 15" or 16"?! and, btw, when you are ripping the tarmac you cant tell what alloys you have. :)
I would go to 15" with a VERY good tyre. wont kill the reving and will grip...
just found this on the web

NICE!!! hill power.
Where did you find manifold? need to se one for design.
from primaracing just can get this: http://www.primaracing.com/engine.htmhttp://www.primaracing.com/engine.htm
quote: «Engine Management Systems
New : We now have available fully programmable engine computers and throttle body...
vernier pulleys are needed when you want to fine tune the cams timing. You can advance or r****d the inlet and/or exhaust cam. This kind of setting when done for the first time (if never saw resultes from no one) should be done by qualified people on a roalling road.
F7 engines dont use MAF...
have the same doubt has maciek.
got a reply from Nick Hill and only he said "Call me".
What is with TBs on valver engine? black magic? Just need injectors and TBs. Manifold and remap will be custom made.
even a couple of days ago we were talking about this BenR.
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BenR, you are posting from 30 December 2001.
Does the Einstein theory works? If you could travel at the speed of light, then you could travel throught time. Or something like that. :P
