mods, minor things... air filter, springs/shocks, decat I think. you know how it goes.
dont know any 45year old rally driver, but I know good drivers. The thing is that no one in this forsaken country get nowhere!!! even if you are the best on in the world.
you know what a CTR is dont you? I...
yes... I agree with you. Must of the time is a question of money, but the way they look (std) those not give confidence on gains in middle rev.
worst if they are like this:

not that much of a problem! just because the bolts of the alloy go throught the disc has well.
put some cooper grease on the disc-hub and disc-alloy surface next time. You can use also some loctite on the bolts of the disc, but not really that worth it.
what ecu? valver or Willy?
custom tunes on the engine always are better with custom maping to suit. I think HillPower can get your ecu maped for your setup. Give him a call.
Golf 150bhp turbo diesel? if yes, I saw one on a trackday. It was puting out 183bhp and 400nm torque. Nice numbers yes, but the damn thing would not corner at all!!! the front of the car just kept on going bye bye.
diesel cars can be fast nowadays... but only in a straight line. Not that good on handling corners and so forth. Too much weight on the front of the car.. :(
Dont know about this new small diesel engines thou.
I tried a couple of times (dont know how to right it, but here it is the chemical symbol of the gas) N instead of air. And thats not free! :(
didnt feel the promised less tyre deformation caused by heat, only a smoother overcoming on road bumps.
ok.. Now you won!!! just because I didnt understand what you are saying now. eheheh :P
I had my share of car electronics today... Im sick of cars right now. Tomorrow will get back at them again.
btw, cars on ice... beautiful the way they can dance!!! that its art. art: tubular chassi, AWD...
no driving today... I walked to work. I was stuck in the office for all day. Really nice actually! away from the noise of the containers factory. Anyone need a laughing gas container? eheh
what took you so long???
head flow and its theory... but I cant keep away the idea that the engine is not only about head flow... damn thing uh? when you get the head back on the engine the damn thing never flows like it did on the flowbench. aint life a b$#ch.
dont get me wrong! flowbench is...
hum... probably because of my half chinese blood... I cant keep of listening the voices inside my head! ohhhhhh no.
At least I dont drive on the wrong side of the road. :P eheh
Paul16v, its so easy to check the ecus number... get your hands dirty! MOVE IT!!! :)
btw, did you swaped the ecu or just the prom (or eprom if already been flashed to a new one)?
This is me guessing, but doesnt the 19v have a diferente exhaust manifold? std ecu tuned for better gains on...
I thought the megane F7R had the 30mm inlet valves like the valver... :/
I think its really hard to guess Ben j.
Theory says that bigger valves will deliver more peak power. Power band will go up. But also theory says that the more an head flows, the more power will be delivered, and this is...
GregMcN, dont worry mate! You should have seen the replys I got when I first posted here... I was taged as a criminal!!! eheh
All the ppl here just want know whats best for their cars! some "tuning enterprises" just dont deliver what they promise. LAD has started to go that way... :(
Keep on...
MOT... opps mine has to go in!
Lofty, my trahsed valver is a ph1 without lambda or 5ª inj...

the other two valver ecus are:

antilag... read somewhere that the Evos got some anti-lag system. Can look again but if I remember correctly the thing works by delaying the ignition. Fuel is burned just in the begining of the exhaust manifold... something like that.
std evos came with it disable... dont know about Evo VII.
