GTT uses 13" alloys, so it can only go up to 240mm.
My RT comes std with 238mm discs.. dont know if they are the same used on the GTT.
Now Im using valver calipers 259mm discs under 14" alloys. For now its the only thing I need... Glad with it, till now never got fade.
hum... nice. :) that extra inj should be placed before the butterfly? the inj should only open (firing fuel) on full throttle... dont know one thing. Should the inj nearest to the inlet stop when 2ª goes open?
This is the way of getting the best of both worlds.
why bother? The braking of the car is done something like 70% front 30% rear... if this numbers arent correct, please correct them. :)
On a RT, owners would fit the valver back axle, which would bring discs. The main thing was that valver has got 4 torsion bars and the RT 2. This is the...
Im not the person to talk about EMS since Im new on the subject.
Netherless, I guess that changing only the inj wont give you what you might expect.
Never saw/heard/read a 172 high tweak for power. Head work, new TB with even 2 inj each, new ecu etc etc. cant say.
BenR and/or Slarty can...
Here in Portugal, the VTS owners claim that they do 235km/h with std car. Thats +- 146miles/h
Last week I went for a drive. No way they can go above 130 with std car. This one had a high flow air filter and would go a little more... the owner really said that 146 was a lie.
now... its really...

there is a plastic thing that prevents from the wheel touching the fuel pipe. Did you took that off? if so, get it back on. You can try to pull the fuel pipe back and get this plastic "shield" at the max backwards.
Had to do this on mine, and I drive 185/55 R14... can imagine what is on 16"...
drilled disks.. hum... take a good look at them. Drilled disks tend to crack from the its drilled vent holes.
The pad.. if its fine, try cuting off a 45º all around it. The pad wont vibrate when braking, and by so, no more noise.
A lot of mates asking this... its kind of hard to find a willy suspension...
there is: Carbon (std ones), Proflex, Billies, hacked Kony Sport, what else?
Carbon usually only does 30k km... :(
What can you get from the best (price whatever) to the nicest (price/quality)?
the crank sensor is just on top of the flywheel.
Mine was std, and by so, it was stuck. I used a rubber hammer to brake the two plastic thins that olds the sensor in place over the drilled plate.
ok ok.. now in Portuguese :)
O sensor vem cravado de origem. Tens de dar umas marteladas na...
I went throught some road testing on the crank pickup some time now.
Only tried advancing... to the max would just hear a little of "gigle" when full throttle in 5º gear.
Now I have "half way" advanced... 3º gear just go to 6000rpm with more "all the way" attitude. 4º gear just keeps stoping...
dont know about the TB but the ECU is diferent!!!
I think that its the 2 bolt airbox that its ecu cant be remaped. Cant remember since Im going now in the other direction.
Get your ecu out of the box and see the brand. Delco Multec its the b*****d ecu. :(
I even read somewhere that A539 were cut out of production mainly because the bad reviews the tyre got on wet.
I dont drive like a madman... the car isnt that powerfull :( snail with wheels.
I just MUST have confidence on driving. Dont matter if its dry or wet. The grip must be there for me...
I have... stop by my garage next Saturday. :)
take off the backbox, you can use a hammer to hit the (damn English translations eheh) steel thing that fixes the backbox to the rubber handles.
eheh Nice explanation. :P
had to do this several times on my "hacked" backbox till geting it right.
I would like to know, also, if the megane 1.6lts MPI fits the RT head... dont worry about the ecu, thats another chapter too long to be posted.
Has anyone done this? never got one on my hands to see.
Other kind of MPI is possible? need to know what inj use and where can get the custom TB.

cops... the only thing they care is about giving tickets. What about taking more care of drug crimes, child abuse or even now terrorism?
I know that you must make a living, but by tickets? BAHHHHHH
A539 is a very cheap tyre, but when it rains the damn thing wont give the grip that a F1 can give... or even a RE720.
Stay at the same grip level or upgrade. Never downgrade, or driving confidence could put you in trouble. :(

eheh.. this post is becoming really nice!
Throw away your ecu. Get a new engine management. No doubts.
change std SPI for the laguna 1.8lts one? No more SPI and do the work to fit the megane 1.6lts MPI? 4 TBs with 4 new inj making a new MPI?
hum... is this the thing to surprise the VTS...
last night I went for some (whatever) with my mate and its RS Turbo...
well... I could keep up with him until 4th gear... damn, my RT is powering like a beast on fire...
I would still be smiling if I didnt know that was raining :P, the Fiesta was having real problems when comes to get power...
A539 not so good on rain...
P6000 never driven ones... Pirelli? hum... not my thing
Eagle F1... good tyre...
what about Firestone SZ40? Im starting to love them.
