    Perfect, that'll be good cheers. Are you running a boost gauge? Quite keen to one to keep an eye levels. Yeah there's just a bleed valve in place at the moment, so this seems a much better set up

    So, I've found the problem! It was the TB after all that! Swapped it for the original from the donor engine! It was idling on 2-2.5k and now just above 1k and behaves in the same way as it did when it was in the red car, so success!! Although that's one problem fixed, I've now got an overboost...

    Haha! Yeah ok, that'll happen! As much as I would like to think I would take it easy, I probably couldn't! I need to get rid of the red one first to free up some cash, I'll keep it in mind though for nearer the time. Thanks! It's getting there, have a bit of motivation block at the moment!

    Tried fixing my high idle/air leak earlier today, couldn't find anything! i tried the o ring on the top inlet, all vacuum hoses are in, and all bolts are in tightly. Next on the list is new gaskets, clean the the then I'm out of ideas?! Any guesses? Idle starts at about 1.5k then raises...

    Not sure if I can make FCS, but I'll definitely be at brands a couple of times this year Plan for this weekend is to try and find out where I've got an air leak so at least it idles properly! Also need to find out about the dephaser solenoid, not sure whether to leave it unplugged like it was...

    Just done an engine swap and I've got a rogue plug and have no idea where is goes to, any ideas?? it's on the same part of the loom as the fans, then a load that go to the fuse box. It isn't the bonnet alarm switch either.
