Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news
Everything looks good apart from the front end. It's like a snake's mouth or something, just needs a tongue poking out the front.
Not sure about the speedo and taco set-up either.
In the 200? I'd guess the JCW would be a different story, the S isn't all that rapid but a marked improvement in pace over the supercharged car.
Yeah, the power delivery on the Mini is quite subtle compared with the Cup. I loved the Cup but I couldn't have a Clio over the Mini now. I can't...
Never owned a supercharged but my mate hated that I had a Cup that was a good bit quicker than his Mini. The R56 doesn't feel very quick but picks up pace very easily. The Cup needed to be hammered which was fun.
Exactly. An MOT is to rate the vehicle's roadworthiness, emissions and safety. Why would non standard wheels or a stereo automatically deem it a fail if there was nothing wrong with them? BS. Maybe a stupid exhaust would be a fail or lights that are not too bright etc.
Nice review. I've not long bought a new R56 myself and pretty much agree on everything you have said vs the Clio. I never used to like them but have come round, especially on the newer models. I'm loving the car and although I enjoyed the Clio, I now like having the toys and quality. Great cars.
What makes it a hypercar? There's always a top and bottom to each section, so surely it's just the top supercar? The Clio is a hatch so the Vee is a hatch. Anyone that owns a Vee and suggests to people (should they ask) that they own a supercar are just embarrassing themselves.
While this is impressive and shows how well sorted it is, it doesn't always mean it's a great day-to-day car. Hot hatches should be a compromise of performance and comfort, so that they are equally good on the track as around town. I'm sure the Megane is good at both but cars that are fast...
Nice car although I never loved the styling of the GP. I'm sure it's class to drive though.
I've just picked a new Cooper S and I'm loving it. I didn't think I'd ever own one but glad I have. It's not quite as fast as I thought but handles well and the toys are good.
I was in the space, he wasn't. The annoying point was it was the only space left as it's full everyday. I was able to fit in the space and get out my car. How is that being a tool? Bothered?
By hassle I mean, will Tesco or whoever's car park it is not try and ticket you for missing the space? So you might save a ding in the door but pick up a £30 fine or something?
Not too long ago a brand new 200 was parked over two spaces in my local train station car park. The two spaces were on...
Remember the 200 will be thirstier than the 182. Not sure if you have added that as part of the monthly payment increase.
I tried one of the Megane dCi 175's - what a car!
